“A delicious and charming place on a peaceful square, next to Villa Sousa. The servers are very friendly and the prawns and gnocchi are to die for! Antonio, the owner who is also a sculptor, gave the place a special soul thanks to a unique decoration that he sculpted himself. Thank you for your welcome!“

“As others have said, all the vegetarian dishes can easily be vegan and many already are. Several options available. Veggie goyozas were very tasty as was my red curry. They even have several vegan (and interesting!) deserts! Friendly and very helpful service from staff who understand veganism. I recommend!“

“I really liked this place. The majority of things on the menu were vegan. We came for Sunday brunch. Me and husband both had sourdough toast with hummus and vegan feta which was very tasty. He had a freshly squeezed juice and I had iced coffee with chocolate brownie on top- delicious! Several vegan cake options and the vegan banana pancakes looked delicious too.“

“I went for the buffet lunch. It’s well attended. I really liked the soup. I took small portions of each of the hot dishes - glad to see short-grain brown rice, and the vegetable mixture and everything was good. I like papadum, nice to have something crunchy. I can’t eat much in one sitting, so buffets aren’t really my thing, but this is good food, and there are dessert options if you fancy one.“

“Went to organi chiado for my birthday and loved the food! Good portion and the flavour was really good ! All they poured a nice , strong gin (? for those who enjoy it). I was really full , so didn't try a dessert, but will come back soon. Definitely recommend. Price is quite cheap for a vegan restaurant in downtown Lisbon.“

“Loved the brunch plate we got here today! It was massive and full of flavour (some might find the scramble a bit salty) and we really enjoyed it. Would be great if they could offer some other vegan options (e.g., the quinoa bowl with tofu or falafel etc) but we would definitely come back! Good service - staff come to the table and take order. 4 rather than 5 stars as limited vegan options (despite them being tasty). Updated from previous review on 2024-10-16“

“Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant plus it’s just a few minutes walk from the miradouro de Santa luzia. The waiter serving me was really lovely, and he was patient while taking my order. Quality food, local restaurant, great vibes, perfect price, not much more I can say for this restaurant.“

“All the food we had was very good … but we thought each food item could have been better… my Seitan steak was more like a huge patty , and the red pesto didn’t really have that much flavor … my wife’s Boneless Lagareiro … seemed to not really have that flavor of seafood as the description says … although it was good Tofu … both appetizers were very good … however the sauces just tasted like regular vegan mayo ?“

“Our first stop on recommendation. A hit! Great atmosphere, wonderful, friendly service and a real feast for the palate. Waffles with cinnamon and caramel could use some fruit to break the sweet taste, but the pancake is a revelation without compromise and in tandem with a smoothie it is an unforgettable visual and taste experience! we will definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend...“

“I've been here a couple of times, and every time I go to Lisboa travelling via Oriente station, I try to make a beeline for it. Fabulous food, wonderful , person attention, a real family business. And if you have never tried chilled blackberry juice (sumo de amoras) with berries floating in it on a very hot summer's day...baby, you haven't lived!!“

The staff is impeccable, kind, careful, professional, handy, friendly, they treat you as a king. The interior design is very nice and very comfortable. Really ... this is one of the best places where i have ever eaten, including italy. Great job.“

“I'm not a big fan of ice cream but once in the summer in a very hot day I make an exception and get some ice cream and this place was unbelievably good! You pay a fixed price (my total was €4,10 including the vegan cone, YES they offer vegan cones), and they said I could choose as many flavors as I wanted and the price would remain THE SAME, which I thought it was NUTS but apparently true. I had dark chocolate with strawberries and another fruit (yeah very basic) and I really enjoyed it! There are many vegan options, vegan cones and vegan toppins, so please go there and treat yourself :)“

“All the ingredients were so fresh, I got the sandwich with olive in it and it was so good and fresh, my partner (who got the salmon sandwich) agreed that mine was superior choice, haha. We also got a plate of hummus, veggies, mushrooms, and another dip, as well as the sangria. It was our first stop in Lisbon and it had a cute terrace and the staff was great.“

“One of the best places for honest vegan options in Lisbon. We tried the scrambled tomatada tofu and the toast with beetroot hummus and mushrooms, and they were perfect. Great service team too! Keep it going, Manjerica, and thank you Happy Cow!“

“Looking for a Fado evening, we were pointed to this place by a nearby restaurant. What an evening it was! If you want to experience real hospitality, touching performance and delightful local food, look no further, go straight to the room upstairs where the show is. Our fadista was Claudia Leal, a beautiful singer, and a young man (don't remember his name now) with equally passionate and expressive voice. Accompanied by two guitarists, they entertained the audience the whole evening, inviting to sing and clap together. Did not know that Fado can be so cheerful. The food and wine was very good and the service was excellent - special greetings to our lovely host Rusha.“

“The Pizzalanden is very small but nice ^^The pizza is very tasty and for such a large piece the €3.50 is worth itThe staff is friendly and the store is centrally located on a tram rail close to the main shopping street. So I would recommend the Pizza Romana!

“They have couple of vegan options for brunch. The atmoshpere of the place is nice with a nice decor and chill music. It can be quite crowded (sometime there is a line to wait to get a table). The portions are quite big, and also tasty. I have tried the vegan shakshuka, it was made by sweetened tomatoes, which I personally prefer to use it as fresh as they are.“

“A super nice small place with a few tables on the hill. Definitely our favourite place for a drink or a small bite in Alfama. Service is always friendly, professional, and quick. Tuna-chickpea salad and the portuguese bruschettas are super nice. An extra plus for being able to listen to the Fado music from the next door restaurant. and a plus plus for happy hour (17-19) sangria :D
Vegetarian options: Many different cheese (goat cheese, azores cheese etc) options on salads and sandwiches. Limited on vegan options. If you eat fish there's loads to choose from.“

“Lovely little restaurant, polite staff, atmospheric decoration. Frozen goblets for cold drinks and flame heated metal plates were two of the special preparations before food arrived. The food was fresh, flavoursome and top quality. I’d definitely go again. Highly recommended.“

“Without a doubt one of the best places I've been to in Lisbon.
I ate:
1.Veal chamussa - extremely shocking and tasty.
2. Fried cassava - very tasty and with sauces.
3. Shrimp with okra in coconut milk and palm sauce - very good, slightly acidic.
4. Rice - basmatti with fresh grated coconut and very fragrant.
Without a doubt I recommend this place. I will come back whenever I can. The customer service was very good, polite, good-natured, quick and pleasant. The terrace has a relaxed, well-attended atmosphere.“

“My wife and I were visiting Portugal for our Honeymoon and decided to make reservations at SUBA! I am so glad we did because it was our favorite restaurant experience during our whole trip. The location is great, the the views were amazing and the food was some of the best I have ever had!
The staff was very attentive and felt very laid back and not as high strung as other Michelin star places which I enjoyed. Felt like less pressure when eating, there was no rush and everything came out perfectly. The dishes presentations were hands down some of the best plating I have seen. Each dish was like an art piece and tasted delicious. I did the tasting menu and wife stuck to A La Carte.
The kitchen threw us some starter dishes and balanced our servings accordingly since I had way more dishes then my wife which was nice. The desserts were awesome and the cocktails were great! We did mention to the sommelier we were not wine drinkers when he came to our table. There was no issue with this whatsoever.
After dinner, our waiter Francisco told us about the rooftop. We got to chat with Joanna as well and informed us all about the building and the history. That rooftop bar was such a special treat after dessert. There was nobody on the rooftop considering every rooftop bar is mobbed at sunset. I was very surprised but we were told by the hotel staff in the lobby it's because they have a minimum to drink on the rooftop which probably discourages some guests but for us, we loved it, felt very intimate and special being our anniversary!“
