“Great food but the service was a little uptight; expected better wine collection for the place known for wines. And they have 2 locations right next to each other - one has a better vibe than other (if they allow you to pick! - they didn’t let us even though seats were available!). Food is great though!“

“We ate here on our second night in Lisbon, and it might be one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. The service was amazing, prices are great, and food is to die for. Get the clams and pork and don’t miss out on the amazing orange pie!! We’re only in Lisbon for four nights, but we’ll be going back for sure!“

“On March 26, we found this treasure by chance, looking for a restaurant where we could eat near the national tile museum. Its very high rating on the Internet caught our attention and we decided to try it. There were 5 of us and we found a small, very small place... but we immediately realized that we had found a very special place. Passion for food, for wine, for offering an unforgettable experience to clients... Congratulations for making us enjoy, for teaching us the Portuguese culture and its gastronomy, its wines... I would say that it was the best of a wonderful 5-day stay in Lisbon . We will recommend you. Thank you!!“

“Walking around XL Factory I looked to see if there was any place that sold açais in the area and I was happy to see that there was a specific one. The experience has been very good. High quality-price ratio. I selected the 2nd size (of the 4 there are), with fruits, peanut butter, chia pudding...All very tasty, nutritious and consistent. Highly recommended for lovers of healthy food and açai in particular.“

“The food and service was wonderful. We order many dishes and would recommend trying a variety of things. The tables and chairs aren’t the most comfortable, but it was fine for a short brunch experience. Love the ambience and the prices were average.“

“Wow! I loved the seasonal rice dish!! It gave me pilaf vibes and was cooked to perfection. I had been eating so much meat/fish that it was so great to find a place that offered high quality vegetarian dishes. I wish I could go back and eat more right now... but if you get a chance while visiting Lisbon, PLEASE grab a meal and a glass of wine here.“

“You have to wait for a seat, but it's definitely worth it. To get a table, you have to join the waiting list and as soon as the tables become available, the staff asks the next person from the list. Really tasty cheese burger (12 Euro) with jalapeno, avocado toast (9 Euro) and strawberry lemonade (5.5 Euro). The ice latte (2.5 Euro) is refreshing. On a sunny day, it's worth eating outside. There is a small, well-kept toilet in the premises.Vegetarian options: The menu includes meatless dishes“

The food from the buffet was of the highest quality and was presented very appetisingly for self-service. Thank you for the pleasant time!“

“I admit that when this restaurant was recommended to me by friends who live nearby, I was curious to try the €12.50 daily menu. For the area, it was still impossible to find a restaurant that had a good daily menu at this price, especially because it is quite diverse and has many options. I went with some friends and the experience was very good, the food was delicious and I was surprised by the amount of things that were included on the menu. The point that I highlight most is the taste of the food, well seasoned and homemade. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.“

“I was always curious to try Qosqo as Peruvian food restaurants are not that common in Lisbon. We made a reservation, arrived a little early and they already had our table reserved. The Chicha morada was delicious, as was the classic Ceviche and the “Aji de gallina” dish. Fair price for what it is.The service was friendly, but not very attentive.Overall it was worth the experience.Overall 8/10“

“We had been in Portugal for almost a week and had let to have that “Wow” meal, till we came to Li28oa! We were initially bummed out that we were not able to sit outside, but the atmosphere inside was just incredible. We started with a cheese board; this was the first cheese board in which our server explained the different chooses—a lovely selection. For the meal, we had Pumpkin Risotto and the Azorean Sirloin Steak. The Pumpkin Risotto melted in your mouth, and the steak was nice and tender.Li28oa is definitely a favorite for us!“
“A place without pretensions, clean, pleasant, but that exceeds expectations. Quality food, good service, "pet-friendly", which is very important... a 5/5.The coffee, excellent!!!!! What brand of coffee do you use in the restaurant????Thanks for everything!!!!“

“After a short 15 min wait we were greeted with a wonderful glass of white wine and escorted to our table. The food is amazing! Our family had the octopus, pork cheeks, duck leg, cod with some delicious appetizers, the wood oven baked bread with Portuguese cheese and chirouzo and some Tinto Blanco. Highly recommend if you are near the Alfama area.“

“Small restaurant in a street adjacent to the Sao Jorge castle, very cozy, not much space, the waitresses speak French, they are adorable. We had a very good lunch: ceviche, sardine rillettes, cod with potatoes and grilled octopus. A delight ! I highly recommend.“

“Three of us had our most memorable dinner in 5 nights in Lisbon at this small restaurant tucked away on a small street in the Alfama neighborhood. (It’s easy to miss the doorway.). What a find! We started our meal with wine (there is a lovely collection here), sheep’s cheese, a vegetarian puff pastry similar to an Indian samosa, and shrimp fritters. They were all excellent. Two of us ordered duck as the main dish; I ordered grilled octopus. The duck was served sliced and was very moist - cooked perfectly!- best duck any of us have ever eaten. The grilled octopus was very lightly seasoned at my request and also cooked extremely well. We chose mashed sweet potatoes with fennel as one of our sides. For dessert, try the peanut pie and almond cake (which was a bit soft and gooey - very unusual). What a wonderful restaurant to discover the last night of our trip!!“

“Intimate dining of excellent quality rustic food. Huge portions, many good options, and really reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit, however be sure to book a table because there's always a queue of people outside trying to get a table.“

“Just what you expect when you go for a fish and seafood dinner by the Atlantic shore! Great and helpful service, expert cook(s), a hidden toilet bringing to mind tight spaces on board of small boats… delicious and fresh fish and shrimp first of all! The atmosphere enhanced by the dagger-like spits. And the crudo is mouthwatering! But watch out for tea: you are in Portugal! :)??“

“A small welcoming place, where excellent cod is served, cooked in different ways that we are not used to seeing in Italy. In addition to cod, however, you can choose different types of dishes, such as meat dishes, cheese starters and other types of fish. The place is small, there is often a queue outside the door, so in good weather you necessarily have to book in advance.A waiter can speak Italian.Honest prices.“

“Exceptional! Absolutely excellent. Our first time but not our last. A lot of love and care went into the preparation of these dishes. Most vegan food has a lot of salt and oil but not at Origem. Everything was perfectly balanced and so delicious. Very impressive. Our order took quite a while to be delivered but we placed a large order near the end of the day. Even so, I would happily wait all day for food this good. Bravo!“

“I recommend Tjela do Restelo. We usually go for lunch/brunch.I recommend the toasts, they are all good. The Tjelas are also very good. For pancakes, we usually order Nutjela, but we recommend sharing it between 2/3 people as it is quite sweet and a little sickly if eaten whole. We recommend the smoothies and passion fruit lemonade. We recommend that Tjela have more "simple" options on the brunch menu, and the person can choose toast with something or a pancake with a few simpler ingredients.“
“Amazing food, lovely ambiance. We had parma ham and cheese to start which was good, and prawn and veal skewers for our mains - these were cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend. We had to book a table for the evening, as they are usual busy. Our hotel was opposite and it was a popular place to go… it’s a bit tucked away as not on the main strip, which is nice. A bit of a hidden gem!“
“Perfect for a healthy gluten free breakfast. So many acai bowls at other cafes contain gluten so Oak Berry is amazing to have build your own acai bowls with the choice of a gluten free granola and all gluten free options labelled on the menu. You can add as many different fillings as you want for free, such as fruits, granola and peanut butter. I am coeliac and ate here with no issues.“

“I think I've fallen in love. With a restaurant in Lisbon!I came in for dinner at around 9:30pm, it had been raining all evening and I was a little miserable from all the walking done previously. But as soon as I stepped into the place, it was like walking into someone's beautiful apartment. Every detail that was put in here was thought out. It's like walking into someone's private collection of their favorite things. From the entrance door covered in various buttons to the wallpaper made from real 1950s Portuguese gossip magazine covers. Now to the food. My server recommended to me the Polvo à Aljezur (Octopus), a creation by the owner (I was told), and I chose the Tataki Salmon for starters.Another sign that tells you that this is a good restaurant was how busy the staff were, running around serving guests. They did an excellent job making sure everyone felt at home. The Tataki Salmon, lightly seared and encrusted with sesame and poppy seeds served over sweet potato puree was perfect! The texture was smooth yet a little crunchy, with a little soy sauce combined with the puree was a great mix of sweet and savory. Then the Octopus came, served over a bed of sauteed garlic spinach and a baked sweet potato and fresh butter. This was a fantastic dish. The Octopus was cooked perfectly, not too chewy but not raw. The spinach reminded me of my mother's version of spinach with garlic, like home. But when you combine all three together, it's like a dance in your mouth. All the flavors coming together were so wonderful.Definitely worth visiting and absolutely worth the wait. Bravo Taberna Anti Dantas!“

“If you're exploring the vibrant streets of Lisbon and need the perfect spot to kickstart your day, this charming café is a must-visit! The staff are not only welcoming but also fluent in English, making it a breeze for travelers. The coffee here is absolutely delightful, rich in flavor and just the right kick to energize your morning. However, the real star of the show is the food. With an extensive and varied menu, there's something to satisfy every palate, and each dish is artfully presented, making your meal as Instagram-worthy as it is delicious. This café is an ideal starting point for a long day of wandering Lisbon's captivating landscapes.“

“Super tasty, freshly prepared and, above all, filling!I had the protein bowl ?? lots of salmon + tuna, I also ordered a little wasabi mayo, which just goes great with it ?.. the rest of us had the prawn curry (good spiciness, so not too spicy) and the duck is also very good. There's a lot of vegan food on offer here, I can't say anything, but it all sounds very tasty ??The price was okay, the service was attentive and friendly.I can only recommend ?Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor, so easy to reach with a wheelchair.“

“I was recommended with the goat cheese pancakes when I was told that the salmon pancakes I had seen in their photos were no longer offered, but the goat cheese was an u unexpected and pleasant surprise! Service, atmosphere and music vibes get a 10 out of 10! Their classic lemonade however, fell a bit flat in my opinion, but then again with all the hype around their lemonade, I wasn't too sure what to expect. Honestly, everything else was spot on I'd give it another go .... and maybe opt for a different lemonade beverage next time around.“

“An excellent restaurant, close to the "Champs Élysées" of Lisbon (Avenida da Liberdad). An unusual place, where antiques are also sold.A super warm place, where we were very well received, all in French (it helps when our English accent is rotten ^^).Typically Portuguese dishes, very careful and delicious: exquisite “Bacalhau a bras”, just like the veal escalope fried with parmesan. The local wine is also very good and affordable.I highly recommend this very good restaurant!“

“We had dinner here during the week. It is a gin bar with over a hundred different types of gin, and a gin sommelier to assist you in choosing the gin that suits you. You choose by smell, rather than tasting. Highly recommend the Sharish gin which is Portugeuse. Note that the gin you select will be served to you as a gin and tonic cocktail garnished with appropriate fruits and spices. For dinner we had the duck and the pork. The pork was superb and was prepared like pork belly schnitzel. The service was attentive and efficient. Even though there was a large party of ten dominating the restaurant, we did not feel at all neglected.“
