“Very friendly and caring service (multilingual). Grilled tuna and espetada (meat on skewers) were good. Salad was fresh and tasty. The fries alone were too dry. Good selection of wine (Mateus Rose - very fruity and suitable for a summer evening).
Plastic chairs don't invite you to linger in warm weather, but as already mentioned, the friendly service makes up for it.

The lemon poncha is one of the best and the garlic bread accompanies it deliciously for a very local aperitif. I let myself be tempted by the squid and shrimp skewer accompanied by grilled sweet potatoes. It was divine but so filling that I couldn't finish my plate. My companion had the pork ribs and he enjoyed it. They were both tender and generous. We didn't have room for dessert. With regret because those of our table neighbors were magnificent“

Apart from the amazing cuisine, the portions were very generous, and the prices very good, making for an optimal value-for-money relationship.

It's a shame that the lady welcomed us in an unpleasant way... but it was another person who took care of us afterwards.
I recommend the “grill” that you see the kind of shrimp there.. Rahhhh it was really good!

BE CAREFUL if like us you are Belgian, I do not recommend fries

“Everything was perfect. Professional approach from the first moment, we had Tuna Steak with a side dish for 15 euros. Fresh fish, several types of vegetables as side dishes and icing on the cake was a degustative drink at the end. We will definitely come back here on vacation and recommend it to friends.“

“We came across this restaurant by chance, kindly recommended by the host of our apartment in Sao Vinci. We had the rice with octopus, the grilled octopus, and the octopus with beans. It was all really delicious, the best place in all of Madeira. The staff were very kind and helpful. The portions were really very generous, so much so that we asked if we could take home what was left over. In Italy we are not used to such large portions at such a low price.
