“Friendly service from the owner of the space, always attentive to customers' needs, and a welcoming atmosphere are what sets Casa da Rua in Lamego apart.
Good burgers and natural juices, it's a shame the carob bread isn't available at dinner.
We tried the puff pastry and it was good, although we found it a little pricey.
The food is good, but what really makes the restaurant stand out is the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere.“

“We ate there today and found the ambience, the selection and the wines delicious.
My favorite crème brûlée was delicious, as was the tapas.
But the most important thing was the friendly staff and the beautiful atmosphere.
Eat, drink & love
The owner's saying is so true ?“

“Most delicious and tender oven baked octopus with potatoes, broccoli, olives.
Came without reservation, everything was reserved but we got squeezed in.
Vegetarian options: Most delicious white bean stew. Very tasty.“

“An absolute ‘must go’ if you’re around Vila Real. The octopus was incredibly tender, the kid goat with alheira was gorgeous and the grilled mushrooms could have only been a product of witchcraft. The veal carpaccio was a star and the service impeccable.“
“We had a great time with my friends in this restaurant facing the entrance to the Palais de Madeus, the welcome is very warm and friendly, the menu is made up of quality regional products and the dishes are excellent just like their Porto Blanx who is a marvel…. I recommend“

“Veal strips with salad and fries were excellent, very tasty, they looked so good that we didn't even take photos! The perfect homemade chocolate mousse dessert, perhaps the best coffee we've had in years! Price you can see for yourself!!“

“A good culinary experience. The chef's francesinha (piquante) was really delicious!
At the entrance I ordered a Bruschetta pistacchio pesto. It was good but…. It wasn't a bruschetta. Sorry, but stuffed pizza dough is called a calzone. I tried to explain but they didn't want to listen to me. It's a shame because real bruschetta would take away from the homemade bread and olive oil.
Even so, I recommend a good Trás-os-Montes restaurant so you don't have to go to Porto to eat a good francesinha!“

“First of all, we would like to highlight the cheerful and cheerful service provided by the staff. They deeply captivate customers. Food well prepared and presented. It was a little hot in the dining room, I think they should have turned on the air conditioning a little earlier. Otherwise, nothing to write home about and extremely satisfied. Coming back.“

Well located space with an extraordinary view over the Douro
Friendly and efficient service.
Very popular on weekends, which leads to the exhaustion of several options on the menu, which are not very extensive,
Parking: Free own parking and plenty of space nearby
Kid-friendliness: Very spacious both inside and outside.“

“High class restaurant from Rui Paula. Not sure what criteria this is missing to not have a star in the red book, but special things happen here.
Somellier is knowledgeable and engaging. Wines run the full spectrum from affordable to hilarious, and everything in between. Good selection by the glass as well including some special ones by the corovin, which is a nice way to splash out a bit without remortgaging or contacting a broker.
Beautiful view right on the river. This is the absolute definition from the guide of worth a special visit.“

“They have a great selection of teas here which you can't find in other places around. Those taste especially good when they give you a little chocolate to go along with it. The view is everything of course and the service is good as well.“

“Excellent food. The plates here are ordered individually, allowing you to share. We ordered 1/2 plates (four different dishes). The meal was very reasonably priced even with a glass of wine. Our waiter ( I believe Joel with the tattoos) was very helpful and pleasant. I would come back again in a heart beat.“
“Service seemed confused. Several different staff offered water and bread but no one offered drinks. Took 30+ minutes to get drinks. There was a storm and wine list required internet so manager gave us tastes of wine and made recommendations. Great service. Food was excellent. Manager went above and beyond in the face of several issues with the oven , waitstaff and disgruntled customers. He saved what could have been an underwhelming experience and made it terrific!“

“Delicious food. Had veal with risotto, which tasted heavenly. The host is friendly and accommodating. The prices are good and you leave full for reasonable money. Preferably a place I will come again. The place looked a bit closed when we arrived (7.30pm), but don't be fooled. ?“

Excellent food, excellent staff, fair prices.
Chef Carolina awarded by the Michelin guide.
Personalized service.
Suggestions from the team and chefs, as good as it gets.
Professional and dedicated team.
I regret not living in Régua so I can go there more often.
I will certainly be back.“
“We learnt from our waiter that Tasca means pretty much like “a hole in the wall “ in Portuguese and Jota means J. It was a delightful dinning experience for me and my wife. The food was fresh and tasty, and the presentation was fabulous. Worth two glasses of wine, we only paid about 50 euros. Highly recommend to anyone who visits Lagos!“

“We didn't have a reservation but within 10 minutes we got a table. Much sympathy from the entire team. From the starters to the dessert (crest with a scoop of tangerine ice cream - perfect combination) everything was very good. Speed of service. In the end the bill was also very pleasant (we didn't drink wine which may have helped)! As everything was great, I just remembered to take a photo of the soup.“
“A warm and friendly family owned and run restaurant. Great local food, outstanding value and delightful service. As it happens the President of Portugal agrees as he too visited and enjoyed recently - photos on the wall to prove it. A very heart lunch for 4 adults and a bottle of lovely local wine came in at 81 Euros. Highly recommended“
“What can you say about this small corner that even in the center of the city manages to bring the calm of a village. The meeting point for people who like to talk and eat well, people from A Nossa Terra!!The owners are friendliness personified, always with a smile and masters of hospitality. We stop by here at least once a week, here the food tastes like grandma's house, it tastes like summer vacations in the countryside of adolescence and so many other good things. Try it, you won't regret it!“

“Probably one of the best restaurants in the area. They have everything: friendliness, speed, good dishes and hygiene. There are many dishes to choose from and they are all well served. The most popular will certainly be the post and the francesinha. Top ??“

“Incredible food and wonderful, clean environment, however the service left a little to be desired... The man who served us, despite being polite, didn't have much patience to listen to our requests and even suggested that we should order food first and then the food I think he lacked a certain skill in dealing with us and we were scared by his direct way of talking about how we should make the request.“

“Restaurant in a well-maintained rural house.
Furniture in the room with the particularity that the chairs are of different styles and different eras, for example, at the table where I sat there were four different chairs, I thought it was great.
Lamps made from wooden ox cart wheels.
Good service, but on the day I visited this space there were only two employees serving the tables, with the room plus the "Esplanade, on the porch, there was some delay.
We ate veal for three and there was a portion and a half leftovers.
Dessert, pudding, which was amazing.
In terms of the meal, everything was great.
I advise.“

“I will not hesitate to say that the roast lamb from the oven made the dinner one of the outstanding meals of our 21 day tour of Portugal.
Friendly, welcoming, good advice and great food, the team is outstanding and the menu with plenty of choices.
So we are here again for dinner and looking forward to the chef's version of Bacalhau.
Waiting in anticipation.“

“I've had several meals, parties and birthdays at this restaurant. However, today I went to dinner and the waitress who served us was not friendly on her CV, I realize that there are less good days, but it's not the customers' fault. Their job is to maintain their posture and not show that they are working against their will and uncomfortable. Finally, another very attentive employee came and improved the experience. But the waiters are the ones who make up the establishment and when the service is bad, it leaves a lot to be desired. The food is simple, has lost a lot of quality, high prices compared to the quality. There was an inconsistency in prices on the receipt, a side order was €2 on the menu and they took €2.50 and the waitress acted unnoticed and even stated with complete certainty that it was €2.50, knowing it was €2. €0.50 each customer arrives at the end of the day with another €50 in their pocket, I wasn't expecting us to notice, there must be few who see it. I've seen them take what they want and if they look "rich or emigrant" they'll set the price they want. It’s because of attitudes like this that they start to lose customers.“

“So, I'm giving it 4 stars because we weren't warned that the sangria I ordered had a lot of wine mixed in and so it turned my stomach but apart from that, the service was professional, nothing to say, l The general atmosphere was good.
The view from the restaurant is really nice and it adds extra charm to the restaurant.“
