“(Translated by Google) Nice, quiet and cheap place. Good for having a coffee and reading the newspaper, without rushing, or for catching up with friends over a few drinks(Original)Local agradável, sossegado e barato. Bom para tomar um café e ler o jornal, sem pressas, ou para por a conversa em dia com os amigos e tomar uns copos“

“Top ! The unmissable Machico ice cream parlor very close to the central square and on the way to the beach or after a hike. Service with a smile. The flavors are delicious and the balls are huge! Even though we were good eaters, we had trouble getting through the second one. Special mention for the chocolate. Good value for money. A shaded terrace allows you to enjoy while seated.“

“The restaurant is next to the beach but you won't get much view of the ocean due to parked boats and a wall. Overall we had nice experience, it was not that great but it was not bad as well. Chicken wrap was a bit dry so I couldn't finish it. Other than that it was a nice place to sit and eat.“

“I do not have words to explain how tasty, fresh and nice their food is. It is a place where locals eat. The waiters are so experienced that they already know what you want. You must try Espetada(meat on skewer) and for vegetarians( the special burger) on the menu. Bravo, bravo, bravo!!!“

“So glad we stumbled upon this bar while we were staying in Cainço. Great local spot with unbeatable prices. Poncha is fresh, plus big drinks menu. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. We loved it so much the first time we came, we made sure to come back before the end of our trip. They also have exceptionally clean toilets.“
“An enchanting little snack bar with great service and delicious meals. Their lunch specials are great so get there early before they run out of the specials. If you miss the specials that's ok, just about everything on their menu is the best version you will find. I love their simple yet delicious vegetable wrap and their chicken mixed salad. Even the beets, which I normally don't like are an addition to the tasted profile of salads and warps due to how thin they are sliced. The snack bar is nesstled in a quiet street near the Rodoeste business office.“
“We bought coffee and fresh buns here every morning during our stay. They have a fantastic bakery selection at good prices – we ate way too many of their pasteis de nata ? The coffee was delicious too. I believe an Americano is known as a ‘Chino’ on the island. The staff are very friendly despite it being such a busy local spot. We miss this bakery very much. Thank you!“

“This cafe is very close to the Cathedral in Funchal. I only had an Americano coffee, but it tasted great and only cost 1 euro 10! A great place to go if you don’t want to be ripped off. You pay at the till once you have ordered ( no table service). Friendly staff. Clean toilet facilities.“

“Stopped here to grab some breakfast and a coffee. We had ham and cheese, chicken sandwich, sausage roll and fresh orange juice. The orange juice is amazing…you can’t ask for better. Americano was also pretty great. Lovely atmosphere as well.“
