“Top restaurant, from the friendliness of the staff to the food that is always well prepared and with very generous portions. As a regular customer of the house, I cannot help but express my displeasure with the last review I read. As usual, I was present in the restaurant and I couldn't help but hear what was happening at the next table. The restaurant was as usual and a little more so on Sunday, with many customers waiting. The Manager informed that on Sunday it would not be possible to discount the voucher that the lady mentioned, as with the huge influx of customers it was completely impossible. And there would be no problem with them scheduling another day to return and then redeem the piglet voucher. They were served with the same friendliness that the fantastic team at this restaurant accustomed customers to, and of course they had to present the bill for what was consumed.“

“This was our second visit after 5 years. In 2018, we visited this place as a family and rated 5 stars, after 5 years, it is great to see nothing has changed. We enjoyed the food we ate, which was again incredibly tasty. There is food for every taste. With sardines being the stars, there was a lot of vegan alternatives in the menu as well. Highly recommended.“

“Excellent. All dishes came in generous quantities, well prepared. I recommend the pepper steak, the fillet steak, the steak à lagar and the octopus à lagareiro. The sericaia is fantastic, the cheese cake was also very good.They accept reservations, personally I recommend making a reservation as there is a long waiting time and it works with a lot of reservations.“
“We were looking for traditional food and we found it here with super straightforward and honest owner that added to the experience. We ordered scabbard fish with bananas and it was super good. Never had it this way before and I was nicely surprised with this combo. But the craziest thing was cheesecake for dessert that had no sugar and its sweetness was coming from super good cheese that owner makes by himself. I was checking other reviews from curiosity and saw some reviews stating that owner is “not nice”, for me personally his super straightforward attitude was a blessing because I hate fake people :) For me and my friends it was amazing experience and we fully recommend this place!“
“Restaurant with subdued light, the decor soothes. Overview of the kitchens which are glazed. The team in the dining room is very caring with also sommeliers. Beautiful presentation of the dishes: vegetarian options are possible. We had a great time. Good value for money.“

“Little restaurant with delicious food. True local Portuguese meals and not only coming with rice and chips. They make the efforts to bring vegetables, it sounds basic but not always seen in Portuguese restaurants. Choco Frito was delicious, sardihnas and grilled squid was my favourite but they have many more choices and more elaborated like rice sea food pots. The place can get busy, especially seems to be a place chosen by Portuguese so don’t be surprised if you have to wait for a table.“
