“Good food to add some variety to the Portuguese restaurants on the island. Tons of options for vegans. Friendly staff. They can make most items vegan just make sure you tell them! I ordered the samosas, Chana masala, garlic naan, and basmati rice. I asked for a side of mango chutney which came in a seriously small dish considering it was 1euro. But that was my only complaint. “This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Ponta Delgada. Cozy, great background music, well decorated. But the main reason I go there religiously since 2021 is the food and Leo and Vitor, the sushi chefs. They are great at their craft, and you will be served delicious food in no time. It's not a very big place, so if you are going for dinner it might be better to book a table in advance. Had no trouble so far getting tables for lunch, but then again I almost only go on weekdays. “This place was recommanded to us by our taxi driver. The omelette portion was massive, we could barely finish our plate, good value for the money. Good omelettes, good fries, good coffee. The place offers wifi. The staff was efficient. Lots of space to sit outside, but a bit crammed inside. The place is just ok! We enjoyed our meal but would not go back.”

BUT the pineapple gelato was absolutely to die for!!! Certain the best ice cream we ever had. I was told it’s home-made and that seems certain. And the bill for all the food, 2 sodas, and some good chicken soup was 21 Euros. Astounding. Very highly recommend!!”
