“On our last morning in Lisbon we stopped for a pastry and coffee before leaving for Porto on the train. This was in our neighborhood, a few blocks from our hotel. We bought egg sandwiches that we ate on the sidewalk seating outside the restaurant. The bustle of people with places to go and things to do was a different vibe than we had experienced during the rest of our visit. The food was OK ... not fancy, but also not too expensive.“
“We had to wait for our car to be repaired at the local machanics so we took the family for some breakfast and coffee to kill some time. Although they only do scrambled eggs on toast the breakfast was really pleasant, coffee was great, the kids enjoyed cheese and ham toasties and freshly squeezed orange juice and we have plans to go back again as we complete our great vacation in the Algarve. Lots of delicious pastries to choose from too. Indoor and outdoor seating and a clean bathroom. You can pay with an Apple Pay too. The owner Carina used to have her own cafe on the outskirts of Paris but this has a lovely Portuguese charm to it. Staff very friendly and speak some English and French as far as I know“
