“I went to eat with my son at Meat-U today and we were very well received. The food was very well balanced in flavor. From the living room to the kitchen, very friendly and competent people (Rui, Rodrigo and Dishan were present on the night, but I also had the pleasure of meeting the other people who work there: Susana, Zé and Brenda). Thank you very much!“

“We booked here for a work lunch meal and there was 18 of us. They put all the starters on the table when we sat down which was some traditional Portuguese food and it was lovely, infact too lovely as I stuffed myself before my main arrived. They had a great menu selection and I had the fish. They didn’t have what I wanted so the waiter recommended a different fish dish and I’m glad he did, it was amazing. Really fresh and tasty. They have a display of fresh fish which you can choose from which makes it easier. A great restaurant choice if you are in Lagos Park for work.“

“This is one of my favorite places in Lisbon.
An excellent example of traditional Portuguese cuisine, well executed with simple techniques.
Excellent product and very good treatment of it.
The dishes are abundant, especially the main ones.
Attentive and fun service. You leave the premises with a smile and the desire to return.
The place is a bit small and gets a little noisy when there are a lot of people, which is usually the case.
It is advisable to reserve in advance.“

“The food is prepared with care and cooked to perfection. I recommend the beef cheek with gratin. The fried seafood mix is also a great pick. Service can be slow due to being overcrowded, yet it is worth the wait and the staff is kind and professional. This location has both interior and exterior seating, keep “

“Revelation.
Very nice, professional and helpful service. Nice welcome, excellent proactive contact with guests.
You can feel that the approach to food is very good. The menu is not overloaded, the dishes are partly made from home-made products.
We can definitely recommend what we ate: Camaro a Tasco, Choco Frito, Cacholeira. And delicious ice cream.
The background music is also spot on, and there's a local atmosphere so you don't feel like you're a tourist.
Thank you. We will try to come back someday.“

“We just spent a couple of days in Cascais and went twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Food is great, cool laidback atmosphere. Service is super friendly. Just a bit slow at the end when we wanted to pay and leave (both times we had to ask for the check multiple times). But a cool place to eat and have a drink nonetheless.“
“We booked here for our anniversary, it was an exceptional experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the elegant and contemporary decor set the stage for an exceptional evening. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt pampered throughout our visit.
The tasting menu was a culinary journey that showcased chefs’ mastery and creativity. Each course was meticulously crafted, presenting a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that delighted the palate. The presentation of every dish was a work of art, making the dining experience as visually stunning as it was delicious.
One of the highlights was the innovative use of local ingredients, which brought a unique and fresh perspective to the cuisine. The balance of traditional techniques with modern twists made each course exciting and memorable.
LAB by Sergi Arola is a true gem in the world of fine dining. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and a refined atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.“

“The second time in three days that we have come here especially for them. They confirm themselves to be excellence for us. We ate in other places in Lisbon but how you eat here and for what you pay is incomparable to anyone else. The service then unsurpassed. They are very attentive to the customer, it feels like family, generous portions and very low prices. They also offered us some liqueurs at the end and an extra coffee. They are wonderful people. I have no other words to describe them, only that if you don't pass by here you don't know what you're missing. You won't find anything better.“

“A really lovely late lunch/early dinner. Sat outside and had a great time. We got piri piri prawns, breaded cuttlefish, bruschetta, sautéed mushrooms, honey sausage - would recommend all of those! Sangria was great and we tried the port too. The service was excellent, very kind people and felt like a very authentic experience and opportunity to learn more about Sintra. It’s about 5 minutes from the station so ideal for the start or end of a day trip. Also, they have soft blankets if it feels a little chilly. A highlight of our holiday and a meal we won’t forget!“

“We were just in for drinks and this place has everything, great atmosphere, the best self-brewed beers (that were everything as was described on the menu and even by the personnel) we were in doubt between some and we got to try just to be sure. There’s so much history in this place and the staff is happy to tell you about it! All of them were great but the one we actually got to know by name also had amazing stories to tell about what went and still goes on in the neighbourhood, so Paddy, if you’re reading this, thanks for saving our night by lending my gf’s phone some power to get back to our hotel and us to get back to you guys for stories that marked our trip in Lisbon :)“

“Above expectations: tasty food, cool atmosphere sitting at the tables in the street and very gentle snd caring staff.
Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“
“Lovely unassuming sandwich shop on the Main Street. The sandwiches are made fresh each day, are very reasonably priced and taste great. The owner is such a lovely man and always welcomes customers with a smile. Try the freshly squeezed lemon juice for €1.50, it’s really refreshing. Bottle of water only 1 euro.Cash only, no cards accepted.“

“Sintra is rammed with tourists - even in October when we visited. Villa Craft Beer and Bread was like a sea of calm amidst the chaos. “The place is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The pasta is served… differently. You won’t get the plate with the pasta directly. The waiter will come with a different portable table on which they have the pans in which the pasta was cooked. Then they’ll put the pasta on the plate in front of you. It’s stupid, but for some reason, really enjoyable.
We really liked it and we recommend the restaurant.
If you go, make sure to order some wine, it will make everything even better.“

“A delightful time was had here. This is a teeny restaurant, run by a husband and wife who clearly take a lot of pride over every detail - from the decor and ambience, to the quality of every ingredient on the recipe. The hospitality was generous and appreciated - and the food was delicious. I had a couple of the starters which were interesting and very tasty. A good time was had by all. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Really nice place out in cascais. Service was great, prawns and fish too. The only thing (which was probably on us) was that the octopus just tasted of olive oil which took over a bit, but it also said on the menu “cooked in olive oil” so. Lovely view and great location“

“Nice restaurant with very pleasant team.
The moules are really Good especially the Gratinados as a starter.
As for the main dishes, it would be great if we can have a refill of moules because even if they are big moules it is not enough for someone with a great appetite.
As non-alcoholic, we didn't try the gin
Kid-friendliness: Share one plate between two kids.“

“I can't give it 5 stars because the service left a little to be desired, we rushed as soon as we arrived to order because they closed at 3:00 p.m. (but they accept a reservation at 2:30 p.m.)… Otherwise everything was good, good cuisine (the fish and very delicious grilled octopus) and reasonable price.“

“Not a lot of vegan options on display in Sintra. (A few vegetarian ones.) This was one of the only places in Sintra’s centro historico that advertised them. They’re all vegan veggie burgers, but the one I had (bean burger) was tasty enough and filling. I could have done without the 80s music blasting but to each her own!“

“Good food, exterior service a little to be desired. Waiter came outside to send messages and there were customers who hadn't even ordered yet. I don't think there were any complaints, but the customers were not satisfied.
The food took 20 to 30 minutes to arrive at the table and the restaurant was not full.
In short, the food is good but take time and patience“

“The food was good, the plates were quite filling, the prices were consistent with what was served and the location and the attentive and friendly staff but I want to make special mention that a client came with his dog and as soon as he sat down they immediately gave him water and even gave him water. They gave a prize. They were attentive and loving even with the dog and for me it is something super important. The place is spacious and has a terrace but it fills up quickly.
Parking: It's crazy to take the car to Sintra
Wheelchair accessibility: Sintra itself is a place that is not very accessible due to the number of slopes you encounter along the way.“

“If we return to Sintra, we will definitely repeat. Homemade food and very good service. The dishes are abundant and at a good price.
First we ordered the grelhado cheese which was very good. The house offers you starters at the table and if you don't want them you just have to tell them so they don't charge you for them. For the main course we ordered a bacalhau with cream and a maminha. The food was 10 and we were full. The attention is very close and very good even if we are tourists, they treat you as if you were one of the locals. They have made us feel very comfortable. My congratulations to the place for achieving such good results in Sintra, where most restaurants are expensive and offer poor quality.“

“We were nearby and decided to go and meet Cha
Cha Cha. The pizzas and waffles seemed like a perfect combination, and they did!
For starters, we ordered the mozzarella with ham, a good starter to start the meal, with the freshness of the cheese contrasting with the flavor of the ham.
For pizzas, we chose À Guilho and Cha Cha Chá.
À Guilho, for us, was the absolute star of our lunch. It's a pizza that captures this snack that we all love very well. The Cha Cha Chá is also very good, with a touch of spice from the jalapeño. What we can see and appreciate is that the pizzas are well served and with fresh and tasty ingredients.
To finish, I had to try a mini waffle (I didn't have the stomach for the normal size). I ordered it with Nutella (of course!) and it's a proper waffle, respecting the liege recipe! You have to try it, even if it's the mini one.
I also want to highlight Joana's friendliness while we were at the restaurant, always concerned about knowing our opinion and making sure everything went well, and Cláudio's talent with the pizzas and their toppings.
I hope to return soon to try Sem Nome!“

“We discovered this place by chance coming up from Belém, after seeing the area, and we really liked it: a humble place, with homemade food, but it was very worth it. Great value for the price.
Although the house specialty was roast chicken (we saw several people coming to order and take it home), we ordered a beef skewer with bacon, which came with rice, fries and salad, and also a shrimp omelette , with the same accompaniment; We really liked both things. Strong dishes with very good flavor.
The menu is extensive, with numerous options to choose from. The waiter who served us was very friendly. Two dishes with a drink for €28, excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: There are several meat-free options.“

“Excellent place with great food and outstanding service! Lately it’s our place to go whenever we have guests coming over as we know Assador won’t disappoint. “Place to do, very good food, welcoming waiter (if you have a sense of humor), among the places to eat in Lisbon (eat locally) it's a very good option! To do ! The octopus salad is very well seasoned! Very good dish (one of the rare Portuguese places where you can eat well)! On the other hand, you have to pay the price to eat in volume (if that doesn't scare you, go for it!)“

“It is a good place to go with friends after a long day and have some beers or cider. When we went there was live music (rock style and similar). The atmosphere and decoration of the place are very good, although the place is not too big (it has two spaces: a first space at the entrance where the bar is and a second, more reserved space near the bathrooms).“

“Excellent atmosphere, good service and excellent food.
The only negative point is that the tables were too close together, leading to little privacy.
-
We went back there after 1 year and the quality of the dishes dropped a lot, making it an expensive restaurant that just served “ok” food.“

“A quality restaurant. Excellent service. Product quality. A magnificent kitchen. A most pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful dining room and very nice terrace. 20 years of customers, every time we are in Cascais we eat there at least once. The price depends on what is requested. It can be very reasonable. And if the price is not the problem (it will never be exaggerated, Cascais is not Cannes) you will surely get it right.“
