The food was great but unfortunately they add 3€ table cover + the initial croquettes and the butter + cheese so you get at least 10€ added on top for stuff you don’t even ask for. I just wish they are upfront about this stuff and don’t hide it as it’s completely unnecessary as the food is great.

A lovely place to dine as a couple. Far from the hustle and bustle of Porto and with beautiful sunsets at the mouth of the Douro next to the Farolin de Felgueras. The food is of very good quality and the service is very correct.

I was traveling in Europe for a month, After finishing my trip to Porto, I had to go to my next destination early in the morning the next day, so I stayed at the airport and had nothing to do to kill time, so I went to see the lighthouse and stopped by without thinking.
(After a month of traveling in Europe, I no longer have any expectations about food.)
First impression - As soon as I walked in, I was informed that there were two people, and the staff member said that a table would be available in 5 to 10 minutes and that he would let me know if I waited. (I'm already feeling good, it's Europe, and I've never seen anyone treat customers so kindly in any country before) He called me while I was smoking a cigarette outside.
Pre-dinner - the usual bread, butter, and, I don't remember, sardine spread. In other places, I didn't want to eat it at all and I didn't try it, but here, I just ate it without realizing it. What's even funnier is that there were several of them, but I ate them all.
Aperitif - Can't remember the name. But I just ordered the feature.
Meal - It didn't come out really quickly, but it wasn't bad at all.
The food display is either amazing or not. But why do we (me and my wife) find this so delicious? It was really delicious. It feels like eating real food. My wife and I kept saying that Portuguese people are really good at seasoning salt (for reference, I have traveled to over 30 countries). I ate like a starving person, and I felt like I should at least say hello to the staff (or the boss) that I enjoyed it and that it was really delicious.
Where did you get that courage from, to greet you like that? Also, the words that this is the restaurant of our lives automatically came out of my mouth, and the thought that we should take a picture together just came out.
Anyway, the photo is a nice one with the wife and the boss (or employees) all looking like a family photo. (For reference, the two people behind me were also guests. I don't know why, but I remember they drank about 3 bottles of wine, and their facial expressions clearly show what the atmosphere was like when taking the photo.)
