We had a great time with the very pleasant and knowledgeable Lucas. Tried some wonderful local producers and a very useful introduction to Ports and the wine makers of the Douro, including the history. I decided to get the cheese board which was also very tasty. Bought a bottle of the twenty year old Tawny which made it home safely. Thanks to the other staff who helped with a wine choice for my partner. Definitely recommend if you want a local feel to your wine and Port experience. I found it a much better experience than the large Port houses across the river.

We had an exceptional experience because the passion Lucas expressed during our tasting made all the difference! The wines & Ports were outstanding and at an exceptional price and unique variety. Well work the stop!!!

Went without a booked tasting. Was nearly empty, 2 couples tasting. Had a glass each then were neglected. We wanted to try more but were ignored. We had much better experiences at the port houses across the river. We did not try any food - simply no service and no language problem.

Nice staff, (all different compared to last year), ok tasting, but nobody able to identify a corked wine. They were definitely too busy and couldn’t pay much attention as the place had more tourists than wines and the shelves were pretty empty specially the Port Section. Seems more like a tourist trap today. Will give it a chance again next year

The most incredible experience! Lucas was the most memorable person to have leading the tasting.. and the wine was perfection, 10/10 experience. I am so happy I came here for my wine tasting in Porto.

Best Wine Bar in Porto. Scrumptious selection of wines and ports from small independent winemakers of the Douro. Our host Lucas was a delight, and very knowledgeable of wines' history and their making. Would totally recommend going for the wine tasting experience, as it includes a great selection of wines, plenty of insights into the wines and history of Porto, and a delicious array of nibbles.

An amazing experience. The guys are very passionate about wine and are very knowledgeable. The tasting experience was a great opportunity to taste unique boutique wines and ports. 100% recommended.

The wines were great however the person running the tasting was new with no additional support. She did not know how to walk us through the wines well and I did not learn anything despite being a novice. Additionally, almost everyone at our tasting ordered the cheese pairing, but no one gave an explanation or even a name of any cheese even when asked. They either did not know or they just added them randomly. I really don’t know. The other visitors were friendly and I did have fun with them. However, if you are looking to learn about wine, I would suggest somewhere else. It was not worth the money to me

Fantastic experience! Great introduction to the Porto and Douro wines. Good wines (2 whites, 2 reds, 4 ports - don't worry the samples are perfectly sized), with detailed explanations about the region and the process. It was great to do this tasting with Lucas, he has so much passion for the products!
All the bottles are from small producer, so very interesting offer.
Possibility to buy in the shop, prices are very good!
