Good homemade food for little money. And the kindness of the owners is appreciated. You have to go early because it fills up very quickly, since it has few tables.

Without a doubt one of the best places to eat in Porto. Traditional food at an unbeatable price. It is perfect proof that by doing things right, having just a few tables is enough for you. A small and cozy place where you feel at home.
We ordered pataniscas, cod fritters, cod and rice.
I couldn't say what I'd choose because we take cod for granted as being good, but the rice...it's from another world. Accompanied by a green wine, it is a perfect combination.
If we look at the price we completed a perfect evening, everything was €40 (2 people).

Price quality very good. We only ordered the seafood rice for two people and we had to take it to go because it was so big, very cheap for the amount.
In the photos it looks much smaller

The place was beautiful and cozy. We had to wait about 10 minutes without a reservation before they let us in. The restaurant is small, but nicely equipped and the service is nice and kind. We waited about 15 minutes for the food and it was excellent and the portions were huge. I am responsible for the prices for the quality of the pork. I had rice with mussels and shrimp for 13.5 euros. Delicious food.

Small restaurant with typical decor. Excellent food and very warm welcome, in French and obviously several other languages. Very fair prices
If you are lucky enough to have a table, don’t hesitate!

We came with some friends today to eat at this unique restaurant near the Rivera del Duero in Porto. Apart from its good cuisine, and its charming establishment, the owners Antonio and his partner, who cook and serve all the dishes, are very friendly and make the stay in their restaurant very pleasant.
They surprised us with some excellent cod: grilled and fried!, and an impressive octopus. The wine (ALMOTRIGA 2020) delicious. They deserve the fame they have
