“Fresh and interesting dishes, great range of natural wines and vermouths by the glass, excellent service and ambience. The mackerel dish was exceptional in an already special lineup of plates. When the bill arrived we were amazed with the value. Left smiling, satisfied and inspired - could not recommend Genuino highly enough.“

“Excellent service, good music and extremely well located.
Regarding the food, it was really surprising, the fantastic combinations they make.
I suggest asking the staff what to choose because they got it right for me!
Without a doubt, it does justice to their excellent reputation, being considered a must-have to visit in the city by the Portuguese!
There is no equal, they make a difference, I will definitely come back!
Thank you Zenith ?“

“This store is a solid 10/10! The food is great, as is the service. We ordered a burger without onions, got one with it, it was no problem at all when we asked the boss about it. He took care of it straight away and got a new one
Have burgers made. Afterwards there was dessert on the house! Thank you for this great experience“

“Porto Weekend 10/08/24: what a great bar! Lots of craft beer/craft ale choice, both on tap and bottles & cans in the fridge. Very friendly, knowledgeable service, which came with recommendations for an amber/red ale request. We had the Fermentage Brewery: Underrated Steps Czech amber lager 5%, Hoppy Road x Totenhopfen Brewery: Kharon Verbena red currant sour 6.4% and White Dog Brewery: chocolate imperial pastry stout 10.5%“

“We went to try it and we loved it, my boy not so much because as always he makes the wrong choice.
I had noodles with beef, it was very delicious, my boy ordered the same but with chicken, the chicken was obvious because it was there, but the flavor was not that bad.
We will return to try more things, among others, the coffee with egg that caught our attention.“

“Located in one of the city's most trendy neighborhoods - Bonfim - Dona Mira reflects the city's climate of diversity and cultural effervescence. This can be seen as soon as you enter the bar, with the exhibition of photographs of the bar's owners interacting with some of the most important musicians in Brazil. The tribute makes perfect sense since both Carlos and Valéria are renowned producers and singers, respectively.
Here you can find both the comfort to read while drinking a coffee on a rainy afternoon, and the space to share a good wine and some snacks while chatting with friends. At the back of the café there is a terrace where you can make the most of the longest and softest days of the year and, in addition, there is a library. If you didn't bring your book with you to enjoy the moment, no problem, Dona Mira has a library of books to borrow and, even better, there is a small bookstore full of Brazilian editions that are not always easy to find here in Portugal.“

“Great place to eat. I was lucky to take place at the 'shared table' as solo traveller, but couples/groups might have to book in advance. I had the nuggets and the chimicurri steak. The Korean Fried Chicken-sauce and the chimichurri elevated the dish to another level (while the texture of the steak was a bit weird). Worker on the first floor, when I was there, worked his ass of to keep everybody happy. Would recommend eating here if you're in Porto.“

“Local in the center of Porto, near the "Torre dos Clérigos". Quite a busy place. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
We ordered "just a salad" and some oysters to start, they were good but nothing special. The fish tiradito, quite good and fresh. The eel, very good, but it's just one bite. The preguinho had very tender meat. The desserts were correct.
In short, it was a little expensive, but recommended.“

“Exactly what we were looking for as a little bite and drinks before dinner. I was excited to try the grilled watermelon salad with rucola and feta cheese, and it didn't disappoint. So tasty and refreshing, perfect for a warm summer evening. The sun-dried tomatoes and basil humus was also a highlight for us. All of that paired with a glass of prosecco sangria. Just perfect!“

“So with the first dish I was quite disappointed - I mean it was tasty but for the price…I was expecting much more. The next one was pretty good and really the mix of flavours I haven’t tried yet. However, I still would be honestly a bit salty if it wasn’t for the desserts. So if you’re seeking near to fine dining experience for a date or sth - highly recommend it. If you simply want to spend your last euros on something you won’t forget -there are better places in Porto. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-27“

“Such a cute but small restaurant - I recommend booking via The Fork because then you get 30% off and a table guaranteed. We had the patatas bravas which were amazing and the aubergine in a sugarcane syrup but the best by far was the mushroom tacos! One of the best dishes I've had in a very long time. 10/10“

“The people are really kind and the location is fine except that it is kind of far back in a hallway with no windows. The naan is really good and the sangria was good too. My pizza had a ton of cheese and mushrooms yet was missing any red sauce. The butter chicken was lovely. Reasonable prices. Next time I will try takeaway.“

“First day in Porto after an early flight from the UK - hotel allowed an early check in and when we enquired about a brunch spot we were directed to this amazing place (also conveniently a few doors away!) - had an amazing breakfast followed by macaroon’s, the service was great and the atmosphere was v ambient and relaxed. Will be back for sure“
“We discovered this place walking down the street by chance and we went two days in a row to eat. They have two "pratos do día" every day that cost 6.50. We have tried the bacalhau à Braga which was quite delicious and the stroganoff. We also saw that the francesinha looked good and we ordered one with egg for €13 although the meat was a little raw and we had to ask for it to be cooked a little more. I definitely recommend it. Plus it's super cheap.“

“I went with my wife to have breakfast, we couldn't find anywhere to go and it was a pleasant surprise.
She ordered an orange juice, I had a cappuccino and then we each ordered waffles with flambéed banana, maple syrup, mascarpone and red berries. Everything was very good. Very attentive service. The pleasant atmosphere.
Totally recommended for both breakfast and brunch.“

“The place is relatively small, and with few tables inside, but it gives a more "intimate" atmosphere because of this fact. The menu is simple and only has the most "common" Indian dishes, although the presentation of the dishes is very careful. The portions are well served and very tasty. The samosas were perfect, very well filled and spicy. The service is super fast and very attentive. Without a doubt, a place to revisit.“

“LEA is a little bit of an hidden gem I think, great brunch (especially the french toast) and great double espresso (I noticed from my time in Porto that the coffee is a little hit or miss, LEA is a hit). We came back for some dinner, since our hotel was nearby, though the hamburger was nice I will probably only come back for the brunch.“

“I came in on a weekday afternoon and ordered an affogato ☕️ It was a strong espresso with a strong acidity that went well with the vanilla ice cream and it was very delicious! ! !
The interior and colors of the store were calm and very comfortable.
However, I was shocked by the overbearing and cold customer service of the older sister, who may have been an outlier. . The customer service was so bad that I don't think I'll be coming back for a while...??“

“We tried the Bao’s at Primavera Sound Porto and, as it was festival food, it was tasty. An honorable mention for the kitchen team who were immensely agile. We spent very little time waiting in a huge line. The sweet potatoes are very good, they were warm and tasty. In any other circumstance it would be 5 stars.“

“The location couldn't be better: on the edge of Parque do Porto. Relaxed and irreverent atmosphere. Eating on the terrace is the best option, although the inside is very charming. It's not the cheapest, but the experience is worth it. And if you have a pet, you can take him too.“

“I popped in for a coffee but was giddy with surprise that there was fresh fruit bowl on menu - how often does that happen. And it wasn't just apples and oranges. Menu has plenty of plant based options. Pancakes, acai, bagels, toast, comfort bowls, salads, Burgers and desserts. Even a healthy bounty.“

“Porto Weekend 09/08/24: Secret garden and Terrace to the back. BBQ food and a great selection of craft ale/craft beer. Very relaxing and chilled atmosphere! I had the Cucumber, ginger, lime sour and Basqueland extra special bitter! Very refreshing!“
