Prova (Prova wine food & pleasure) is a lovely, relaxing wine bar with a cozy and jazzy atmosphere. The knowledgeable staff provide excellent service and are very informative and helpful, offering recommendations and tastings of a wide selection of Portuguese wines at reasonable prices. Customers can enjoy good quality charcuterie and cheese boards as they sit outside or inside at comfy and atmospheric tables. Though some reviews suggest it may not be the best place for Porto wine, it is definitely cost-effective, with prices around 6€ per glass for choices like the 20yo vintage white port. While the service outside can be a bit slow, the experience is enjoyable, and João is noted as a cool host.
