“Without exaggeration, one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and our favorite meal in Madeira. We got the beef brisket and pork shank, which were excellent! The meats are all marinated and smoked on-site and the flavors are truly delicious. To drink we just had the fresh squeezed lemonade which was wonderful. For dessert we had the passion fruit crème brûlée which was incredible. Wonderful and super friendly service! If you have the chance, definitely make it a point to try this place!“

“This is a small family owned and run restaurant, that produces every day a different set of local dishes and desserts. The dishes are exposed in a window and you may choose which one you want. The portions are extremely generous and the fresh food is extremely tasty. The restaurant serves less customers in its room that it does take-away. Lots of customers come to pick up their orders and the restaurant does also have a very efficient delivery service. The icing of the cake is that the prices are extremely democratic. Besides, the service is very fast, since the dishes are already cooked and the family is warm and friendly. A place to visit and re-visit! I need to stress however that the address mentioned by Tripadvisor is incorrect. This restaurant is NOT in Madeira, but in Sesimbra.“

“Local in the center of Santana with seating both inside (air-conditioned room) and outside on a pleasant terrace, with convenient free parking nearby. We took the stuffed persimmon bolo and a Maracuja cheesecake. The sandwich and the quality of the ingredients are excellent (we recommend the one with the steak and egg which is more typical rather than the one with the hamburger inside). Mediocre cheesecake, I don't recommend it. Two sandwiches, two drinks and a dessert, just over 20 euros. Good value for money.“

“La petite maison est jolie, il y a tout ce qu’il faut et Andreia est disponible en cas de besoin. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour en famille, au calme, pour bien nous reposer après les nombreuses balades que nous avons faites. Le centre ville est juste à côté pour profiter de la ville. Il y aussi de quoi faire quelques courses. Albufeira est situé à proximité de tout, c’est parfait pour visiter l’Algarve !“

“Wij waren nadat de wegen waren afgesloten door de rally (+ongeluk) en de taxis ons niet meer naar de Pico parkeerplaats konden brengen gestrand in Santana. Bij ons vorige bezoek an Santana was dit restaurant ons al opgevallen en de reviews waren goed, daarnaast hadden we na onze wandeling zin in pizza. We waren heel blij met onze keuze, de pizza was verrukkelijk en de serveerster dacht geweldig mee met de noten allergrie, ze heeft zelfs de keuken laten weten de pizza niet te snijden omdat deze met andere pizza's in aanraking kan komen met pesto (bevat noten). Deze heldin verdiend een extra compliment, het was haar al eens overkomen dat dit verkeerd was gegaan en door die ervaring denkt ze goed mee en neemt ze het serieus. Het eten was goed, Banana Weiss bier was lekker en de espresso was ook heel goed (uniek op Madeira).“
