“Amazing value for money.
We got bread and rolls for our hikes from there every morning. We also took the chicken pizza and some other savoury treats with us and everything was tasty.
We treated ourselves to a breakfast of cake one morning as there are soooo many to choose from. The slices are enormous.
Would recommend to have breakfast there every day to try everything. I tried a lot in a week but still feel I am missing out on some things :)“

“Wonderful hidden place with amazing traditional cakes and great coffee. It was so good that we ordered more )). So for 2 cakes, 2 cups of coffee and a bottle of water was 9 euro all together. The view is spectacular! Really enjoyed. Thank you.

“The ambiance here is awesome, endearing and super quiet. We a little retreat ?The food is fresh, probably from the area and allergies and intolerances are taken into account. When I was told that I was allergic to egg whites, the waitress offered to make me a roll with a spread of my choice. Sounds like an ad but I've never eaten such a delicious ham roll ?The staff speaks English with ease and I'm polite, courteous and leave enough time for small talk when no other customers are waiting.
Vegetarian options: e.g. rolls that can be topped with cheese
Parking: You can park all along the street
Wheelchair accessibility: Located on ground floor level

“Excelente home made food prepared daily. No menu, just 1 meal on offer daily. This is called ‘Prato do dia’ and the main clientele are local workers. Delicious traditional food - not veggie or vegan friendly - and you have the choice of a full portion or half. Highly recommend.“
“(Translated by Google) Nice, quiet and cheap place. Good for having a coffee and reading the newspaper, without rushing, or for catching up with friends over a few drinks(Original)Local agradável, sossegado e barato. Bom para tomar um café e ler o jornal, sem pressas, ou para por a conversa em dia com os amigos e tomar uns copos“

“It is located near Santo da Serra (Madeira) in a pleasant place where you can enjoy the fresh air of the mountains. Mild temperature outside. Inside, in addition to the friendliness of the professionals at the service, you can enjoy the excellent preparation of the dishes of the day. It has a menu with other offers that are made on the occasion. In the lounge there is a television where you can watch a program of your interest, for example, football matches if necessary. Drinks and food prices very affordable to any budget. Visit this place and let yourself relax for a while. You will certainly like it, as I liked it. With private parking for cars reserved for customers.“

“Super cute little but nice restaurant directly on the way to the lookout point. The food is all freshly prepared. Even the fries are freshly cut. Super nice boss who is happy to have a chat. I recommend everyone to stop there and have something to eat and drink.“
“Large terrace with a fantastic view over the airport, for those who love aviation. It's a fantastic bar for lunch or dinner, or simply drinking a coffee and watching the planes arrive and depart from the airport. I recommend it without a doubt, even for those who don't like planes. It is also a good place to watch sporting events. Unfortunately it has some less positive points, sometimes it is difficult to find parking as it is a very popular place.“

“Our lunch at the Lavrador São Vicente restaurant was a real highlight of our stay in São Vicente. We tried the grilled mussels and the fish of the day (sea bass) and were amazed by the quality and taste of the food. The mussels were grilled to perfection and the sea bass was fresh and superbly prepared.
The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Despite the high quality of the dishes, the prices are more than fair, making this restaurant a must for anyone in São Vicente. The service is also particularly noteworthy: the service was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome.
Overall, we can only warmly recommend the Lavrador São Vicente restaurant. If you are in São Vicente, you definitely shouldn't miss this culinary experience!“

“As a frequent visitor to Santa Cruz I am very glad to have this wonderful little eatery available for my vegan meals. Maybe the only restaurant in Santa Cruz with vegan options? I can always find something to eat here for lunch, a tasty snack or dessert and even early dinner in the summer. The food is reliably good, the service the same, and the prices are reasonable. A friendly and casual café with indoor/outdoor seating located steps from the ocean.“

“Tried the Pastel de Nata many times before: in Portugal, Macau, HK, and never liked it. Until this one - it’s a different level of this pastry! Never thought it could taste like this. Go to Sta Cruz just to try it!!
The service is amazing too!! Love everything about this place, thank you!?“

“This is one of the authentic bars in Madeira. Starting from the front door itself, above which something about tradition is written, to the door handle itself, which is original and over 100 years old. The floor is made of cobblestone, old stone, like Skadarlija in Belgrade or in general the old pedestrian zone in cities. Inside there is an old anchor, lanterns, machines used to make wine, as well as various other decorative items. The choice of drinks is a separate story and I hope I won't scare you if I tell you that there are old bottles of wine that cost 2000 euros. Good old rum is served here as well as standard drinks. The view is beautiful because the sea is right across the street. Truly a place you should visit if you're passing by.“

“This is where your day in São Vicente begins. Very good coffee (Chinesa), delicious cakes (large selection, everyone will find something for themselves) and friendly service. Adding mountain and ocean views, we have perfection. For dinner, I recommend Picado - delicious.“

“Honor to the humble local places of Madeira, honestly it was what we were looking for. A place that we could define as home-made and a little spartan, with a visible grill inside the restaurant, the chefs who could have been my uncle and aunt at the barbecue on May 1st, I was already excited (if I wanted to go to the restaurant I went to Milan, my opinion). Breathtaking view from the balcony for this small restaurant located at the base of the mountains that surround it in their entirety. Super cheap place, with 7 euros we got a "complete" dish of chicken and pork, rice, potatoes and salad... fantastic. I want to point out the kindness of the waitresses, they made us feel at home. Go there“
