“We discovered this restaurant by chance on Maps and went there because of the very good reviews and experiences from others. We were enchanted by the food. The grilled tuna was phenomenally tender and juicy, we were completely thrilled. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience and furnishings were very cozy and inviting. “We came across this restaurant by chance, kindly recommended by the host of our apartment in Sao Vinci. We had the rice with octopus, the grilled octopus, and the octopus with beans. A very good address with a view of the ocean (in fact the restaurant overlooks the beach). The service is careful and impeccable.
The lemon poncha is one of the best and the garlic bread accompanies it deliciously for a very local aperitif. I let myself be tempted by the squid and shrimp skewer accompanied by grilled sweet potatoes. It was divine but so filling that I couldn't finish my plate. My companion had the pork ribs and he enjoyed it. They were both tender and generous. We didn't have room for dessert. With regret because those of our table neighbors were magnificent“

“Very friendly and caring service (multilingual). Grilled tuna and espetada (meat on skewers) were good. Salad was fresh and tasty. The fries alone were too dry. Good selection of wine (Mateus Rose - very fruity and suitable for a summer evening).

“Das italienische Restaurant liegt direkt am Hafen und vom Tisch aus kann man aufs Wasser sehen. Die Karte bietet ein paar klar gelabelte vegane Speisen, manche optional vegan, wenn zB Käse beim Risotto weggelassen wird. Wir entschieden uns für Bruschett, Risotto und Foccachia. Für gewöhnlich frustriert mich Pizza ohne Käse, das hier angebotene Foccachia ist jedoch super lecker und würde ich jederzeit nochmal bestellen (ich hätte es eher als Pizza Marinara eingeordnet). Das Pilz-Risotto hingegen war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu fest.“

“Most delicious chicken skewers i’ve had in my life, never thought i will ever write a review about chicken skewers, but they were really nicely seasoned and prepared on a wooden fire. My husband had a tasty beef egg steak and fries, which were also delicious and on top we got to enjoy them with a great view to Funchal&the ocean while breathing the fresh mountain air. Restaurant is very nicely decorated in a rustic mountainy style and the owner who also served us was very, very hospitable…Big thank you for making our day, this place should become a sort of prerequisite pit stop for everybody going or coming back from Eira do Serrado who needs a recharge of batteries.“

“A very cozy restaurant. With a very simple, beachy decoration, with direct views of the sea, it has a terrace on the shore of the beach. The waiter very attentive and friendly.
