“We went there because it was wheat soup day and they said it was good. And is!!!The location is far from the center for those walking. (By car everything is close in Porto Santo). It's a small place but with a very funny atmosphere.I confess that eating wheat soup in the summer doesn't taste good, but it was good and the service was very friendly. There were those who ate prego on bread and liked it just as much.I really liked it and recommend it.“
“While vacationing in Quarteira we came across this restaurant off a side street. Really happy we did. My husband and I had a pitcher of Sangria which was excellent. My brother & I had swordfish with lemon and capers which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My husband and sister-in-law had beef kabobs which were tender and juicy. Cappuccinos and espresso martini's finished the meal perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.“

“Next to Fontinha beach, we find this small house dedicated to Bolo de Caco. The place is very pleasant to eat and relax. The service is excellent, guided by friendliness and competence. The menu is vast, from the bolo de caco with honey to the dog in bolo de caco. There is something for all tastes. I recommend that in addition to tasting the bolos de caco, you also drink a Nikita. Wonder. Highly recommended.“

“One of the only places where you can eat until later, where you can share experiences and friendships, in a calm place where children are welcomed and cared for!
I just have to wish Tia Maria the best and success.
All the best?“

“Beach bar with a fantastic location and an excellent cold beer and a good Caipirinha da Sofia to accompany a sword fillet sandwich in a carcass and not in a bolo do caco!!!
This whole environment becomes more special due to the friendliness and excellent service of Spencer, Skiny and young Natalie who are what this house needs to be light and equal to the landscape of Porto Santo ?“
“The Caravela has a new tenant who, as of today, is also a chef.First test: Grade 1???There are 2 pool tables that are well attended and also look very professional. We had a small bolo do caco and picado for dinner which was almost too much. I would be happy if there was also a small size ?.Otherwise, we'll be back, we live here ?.Oh, and the service is very nice too“
“We stopped here on our day walking around Sintra for lunch. It's a little way out of the town and a very unpretentious place that focuses on serving good value food. We had omelettes and they were lovely, a good size portion and well presented. It was a nice atmosphere in the bar and service was friendly and efficient. Definitely not a tourist trap and very good value.“

“Restaurant with history and name in Porto Santo gastronomy. The characteristic stone walls, the wooden benches, the large terrace make us travel back in time, probably since we went there the first time. And it's still good!
The bolo do caco with garlic butter is excellent, the vine meat and garlic are the best!
And prego is a “must” for anyone who appreciates it.
The service just doesn't get 5 stars because not everyone works the same. The guy who served us was tremendously efficient and fast. While I served 5 tables, the remaining employees didn't even finish serving one!
But it shows that the service in Porto Santo keeps up with the times and is, today, much more effective than it was a few years ago. At least for some!
It's worth the visit!“

“After reading all the comments about the owners, we were "scared" and to our surprise that the owners were always very friendly.
We tried the limpets, octopus sandwiches and swordfish and we always liked everything.

“The space, with a room of some size, is pleasant, despite having little natural light. Grilled dishes are the house's specialty, although the food, in general, is not stunning in terms of preparation. On the day we had lunch, the service and waiting time for the dishes was exaggerated (more than an hour for four dishes, two of which were the same and one was the dish of the day), as the chef had apparently arrived late to the restaurant (!!). The service is affable and friendly. However, there is some disorganization in the collection and delivery of orders. The desserts are acceptable. In terms of quality/price it is a little out of balance (between €20 and €30 per person, including bolo do caco, drinks and dessert), so the most appropriate rating would be between 3 and 4.
It has all the conditions to improve (service and kitchen).“

“Place with good and well served salads and burgers!
With a welcoming terrace!
With table service!
In terms of values within the Porto Santo average!
I recommend the h1 and it's really great accompanied with fries! And the sauces available are a great brand! And to finish, nothing better than a drink called
(Filaria)“
