Very comfortable restaurant with well prepared Portuguese cuisine and attentive staff. It has a terrace in a very pleasant wooded space.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian salad, fried corn and fish from the garden

Unfortunate idea we had this time, to come to Sabores de Sintra. We were a group of two couples with a child and a friend. The menu is basic and has little variety, with dishes without history and without any "salt and sugar". Only the Madeiran skewer seemed to be worth mentioning, but at €20 per serving, it invites a final bill of €40 per person without overdoing it with wine or dessert. The dishes we ordered, some of them poorly prepared and all around €16, didn't even have a salad worthy of the name as an accompaniment. In the end, without dessert and with 3 bottles at €15 each, the bill was €29/person. The dishes were mediocre for the prices charged. The icing on the cake and what triggered my exhibition here, was an employee who looked older than himself who, appearing out of nowhere at 10:30 pm, made a point of giving off the air and tones of a "boss" without being one, and who rigorously pressed us all to the cafes and to "get moving" between our teeth, without smiling (not even forced) and also making a point of isolating us from the rest of the restaurant area by closing doors and shutters without any trace of politeness. In the room there was a table with a couple, plus another with 10 people celebrating their birthday, all looking to stay for a while longer. It was 10:30 pm, and this restaurant announces closure at 11 pm.It was the last straw for me. I live in Sintra and when I invite friends to come here, I have done so 3 times to date. This was the last and final time. I think it's a shame for businesses that claim to be worthy of being in the restaurant sector and still have this type of service that I have never experienced in a restaurant in 53 years. Obviously not to be repeated.

Very bad! Some very rude staff and the food was nothing special. Furthermore, with a room with a party, we were thrown out on the street on a Friday. To spend €28 per person, there are other options to choose from. I do not recommend.

Cold, poorly prepared food, cold and old potatoes, there was no difference in the taste of the picanha and the steak? Poor quality. By far the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We were not offered any options for wines, and the waiter convinced us with a terrible wine. And he even told us: It's the cheapest. Since I didn't ask about the price but about the taste of the wine and I still paid 50 euros for that bad and "cheap" wine. Don't go to this place.

The best ! Our first meal in Portugal ! Delicious food great people Juan was amazing, show us the restaurant! Great food , we had the menu of the day ! I wish I had dessert ?, we will be back for that , my glass of wine €3.50 , for lunch ! Highly recommended!
Simply sensational, incredible and extremely delicious dishes, Chef Deolinda is a kind and friendly person with all her customers, she came to the table personally to hear our evaluation, without a doubt I recommend it to everyone, remembering that the house show is Polvo a Lagareiro a specialty without a doubt.

Magnificent and welcoming space. From the friendliness and availability of the staff, to the diversity of dishes and their good preparation. Speed and pride in serviceTerrace and 5-star rooms and despite having several rooms, they manage to create isolated environments without customer confusion in common spaces.Repeating!
