Very good roast chicken. For desserts, I recommend the chocolate cake and the lemon meringue tart.
Quality/price ratio of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

Very popular restaurant where we were put on the waiting list, but got a nice spot outside in no time. Simple menu including delicious chicken. Very competitively priced too.

Chicken Lunch à Guia at Somos um Regalo in Sintra.
For starters came Bread, Olives and a good Chamuça.
Then Chicken Guide with Spicy, French fries, rice and tomato dish with onion, (side dishes charged separately). The chicken is good but in my opinion the spicy sauce uses a little too much oil.
For dessert I ordered the Baba de Camelo which is homemade and tasty.
I accompanied it with 1/2 bottle of House Red Wine.
Meals around €20 per person with dessert and starters.

Two people, so we didn't have to wait long for that wonderful spicy chicken. We were served with kindness. The atmosphere is always pleasant, and the customers are mostly local to the region. In the outdoor seating area, let's say there is some air current, which for older people may not be the most suitable. I didn't understand if the house's mature white wine is no longer served in a jug or if it just comes from a bottle....

I advise you to clean your plate with bread in that spicy sauce.

We came here after an incredibly bad experience at the Cascais restaurant (very rude/lack of service). Coming to the sintra restaurant instead was a waayyy better experience! The staff was super nice, the atmosphere was more cozy and less chaotic (also more local) and the food was sooooo good! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Lisbon!!

We stayed at Happy Sintra across the street and had dinner there on Thursdays.
The shop opens at 7 p.m. and we were there on time to get a table for two.
At 8 p.m. it was full there!
Very good grilled food (chicken & steak), incredibly cheap prices, very attentive & friendly service.
Highly Recommended!!!
