The place is recommended for eating and there is a good home atmosphere
They no longer had some of the dishes that had caught our attention but we ended up ordering the monkfish rice and it was a success, highly recommended!
Just one but... there was a bit of noise due to a concert that is being held these days.

Tasquinha da Linda offers fabulous gastronomy and an excellent wine list, paired with attentive and professional service. The restaurant features a pleasant covered terrace overlooking the river, serving dishes like grilled sole with mashed potatoes and vegetables, as well as excellent octopus and fish soup. Guests often enjoy fresh seafood, such as a massive seafood platter with mussels, clams, razor clams, shrimp, and barnacles, which tastes like the wonderful ocean. The restaurant also serves a whole grilled sea bass that is fresh and light. Although prices are high for Viana do Castelo, they are considered a bargain compared to the US or the rest of continental Europe for the quality of food and service. The atmosphere feels welcoming, almost like being invited to a family feast, with service from Linda, Sergio, and Anais being spectacular. However, some guests find the service a little stressful at times, especially when they are asked to order immediately after arriving. The restaurant offers a private space for events and a lovely patio where cocktails and appetizers can be enjoyed before a four-course dinner inside.
