“How good we were to stop there, it was a surprise. Maybe we had another idea for lunch that day, but in the end the place was worth it.
It is a brunch place so it is not a restaurant, but it has variety and you stay well after eating there.
The owner was charming, very friendly and attentive, he also surprised us because he had maps hanging and asked each client where they came from to circle them on the world map and see where they got visits from.
The food is very delicious and fast, and quality-price is highly recommended.“

“Servings in generous quantities, highlighting the clams, beef bitoque, Alentejo-style meat and Brás-style cod. We come back every year because of the friendliness of the owners, who make my son happy and accompany the dishes he chooses with the wonderful mushroom sauce! Recommended!“

“Fantastic little restaurant in a town right at the border, I recommend to swing by for some great food and a friendly staff before continuing on the road.
The owner was very sweet, fluent in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese, passionate about her food and with greay recommendations. The bowls are healthy and the drinks are to die for, don't skip on getting the special drinks, they're very worth it.
Veggie, vegan options, adaptable to any dietary restrictions and preferences, and a fantastic caramel and banana dessert, the name of which I've forgotten but I can only recommend it if these 2 ingredients are something you like.
Kind regards from France and Ireland, I will always swing by if I'm nearby in the future.
Vegetarian options: Many many veggie and vegan options, and very healthy foods and drinks in general, great for detox or to relax.
Dietary restrictions: Dishes come in all sorts, and are adaptable to diertary restrictions.“

“Very nice home
It is not a restaurant but a place of sharing where the owner offers us dishes according to our hunger.
Before paying: we dress in medieval clothing to match the charm of the place.
Very affordable price 4 people €40: dishes to share“

“My family and I chose this restaurant for its offering of the true flavors of Portuguese cuisine and we really weren't disappointed until dessert time.
The dessert chosen by my husband and I was a lemon meringue tart...existing lemon, meringue from poorly cooked egg whites that left us with a gastrointestinal problem for 3 days.
We notified the restaurant and were told it was impossible as they had not received any other complaints.
Very disappointed ...
It's a real shame because a lot of their menu is very good.“

“It is a restaurant very close to the center, but it offers an experience far removed from the tourist traps that you find on the main streets. A delicious meal and a good quantity (the toast with goat cheese and pumpkin jam was incredible) and the woman who served us was very friendly, she attended to us perfectly in Spanish when she saw that we were Spanish. When we return to Tavira, we will repeat.“

“Spectacular landscape, very comfortable, they receive requests that are not on the menu. Very calm with no fuss, but I went after lunch time so parking was easy. Beautiful and tasty pies and cakes. Very good bathroom. Good place to relax in the afternoon and read the newspaper or tablet, without any stress. Affordable price in relation to the price asked. They offer food on the menu, but they also serve alcohol and cocktails, even if they're not on the menu, look online, they're very affordable. I loved!
Parking: On the street, but during the holiday season a little more complicated. But there are always cars leaving the parking lot, I walked a few meters to the cafe, and when I was sitting I saw many cars leaving the parking lot and others parking, the parking lot is not dramatic.
Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children, I even saw babies.
Wheelchair accessibility: It has ramps!“
“We already went there twice this year and seems well keep going. It’s arguably one of the best gelato in Portugal. They have the traditional flavours alongside some truly great inventions. Yesterday the Chilly Chocolate and the Poejo (aromatic herb) with Citrus, were simply divine. Natural and strong organic flavours with just the right consistency and texture without overindulging in sugar. Perfect!“

“Fresh fish, average prices, efficient employees, the shame is the waiting time, it opens at 11am and 6pm, and there are already people at the door, in short, just go and sleep...
However, it is no longer a rodizio, it comes with a platter for a table for 2 people. With 1 sea bass, 1 sea bream, 1 besugo, 4 sardines, 2 slices of toasted bread, rodizio is now like this.
If you want to do it again, you have to pay for another dose, desserts separately, and not coffee.
However the quality is good.“

“TOP restaurant, we ate very well, very friendly and attentive waiters.
We tried the tuna tartare, the oysters, the walnut and spinach cheese puff pastry, the octopus with sweet potato, the gyozas and the fried anchovies, and everything was spectacular!! I would highlight the puff pastry, the octopus and the gyozas
We drank wine and for dessert they gave us some shots of chocolate and coffee (which they offered us and charged us for, thinking they were inviting us), and it came out to €126 in total (4 people), very good value for money, yes, you have You have to order more tapas than the number of diners to leave well-dinned
I recommend booking, it's always full“

“Amazing lunch: the anchovy bruschetta was incredible - a little oregano, lemon and olive oil. So fresh. And the shrimp with garlic - so double incredible - garlic, butter, paprika and lemon - so tasty. And the service was so attentive. A little Super Bock to go with it and it is a perfect afternoon in Tavira. So good.“

“A great experience! We started with sobre breaded octopus fritters, and they were delicious. Then we ordered razor clam rice and codfish soup, and they were fantastic, especially the razor clams. We ended with sobre typical desserts from Algarve: carob and orange tart and almond pudding. The service was great, staff were friendly and nice.“
