Good place to eat Cod, nice and quiet
Everything we ate was delicious. For two adults and two children we ordered three starters, octopus, cod fritters and cheese board and two mains, cod à bras and tripe. The main courses were very filling. The waiters served us very quickly, were very friendly and guided us when ordering.
Very nice location. Good service, good knowledge of English is absent. At the limits of moderate upwards. Absence of salt and spices in general in all dishes. Fairly good space in the toilets, frequent cleaning is absent.

Restaurante Cais do Bacalhau offers a pleasant dining experience along the river, with a very nice location. The friendly staff provide good service, although there was a mention of one slightly unfriendly man. The menu features delicious dishes, including the bacalao a ras (scrambled cod with straw potatoes), cod à bras, and tripe, which are all traditional and well-made with fresh fish. Everything served is very filling, and the portions are large, making them suitable for sharing. The prices are reasonable, described as average, considering the area. While the restaurant may have wheelchair accessibility, the bathroom is on the first floor and could use more frequent cleaning. Visitors can enjoy a variety of seafood and meat dishes, such as the Carrilheira de Vitela Confitada, in a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it is a good choice for those in the area, though it can be crowded, and there may be a wait for a table.
