“We visited from New Jersey for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Located in the heart of the cultural district of Montreal. Nightmare finding a parking spot. Food extremely delicious and mouth watering with good portion sizes. Host Tiffany and team were fabulous. Great taste of Lebanon.

The food arrived with clear labels. We ordered the Shish Taouk Plate (Chicken), Vegetarian Plate, Falafel Plate, and Grilled Salmon Plate. Everything was great- tasty and reasonably priced. The entire group was very happy and satisfied.

Not being too hungry, we took a chicken shish taouk plate for 2 to take away. All the employees were friendly, smiling and warm. Fast service even though the line was long, asking us the right questions, advising if it included an extra, offering options. Reasonable value for money and generous portions. “I arrived a few minutes ago to experience quality time important enough to share it with you: a friend and work colleague dear to my heart has just “paid me a whole bill” with a meal at Basha Laplaine (Place Major) consisting of a "Shish Taouk" plate & a "Brochettes" plate (it's brand new and I even believe that if I understood correctly, I am one of the first if not the first to taste)... sincerely, tender to so much so that it melts in your mouth... fresh tabbouleh that each mouthful is a treasure of flavors... decorated with 3 other salads which are really worth discovering, a nice big portion of rice, the plate of "shish taouk" remains faithfully "a must"... I am confident that the other choices are just as tasty! As the portions were very generous I did not eat everything and I brought home to share this "luxury for the palate" with my loved ones...When I arrived home, and my son saw this he began to "pick at the 2 plates"... I had some difficulty "reasoning" him to stop and leave some for my wife... easy to imagine wanting to go back soon to repeat the experience together in order to share this culinary stop which deserves to be extended to as many people as possible... After a quick check for vegan restaurants in the area, Boustan caught our attention. We ordered the falafel bowls, a vegan Brownie, and some Montellier water. It was all very good. There were five decent sized falafel in the bowl. Between that, the hummus, and the salad, we had a nice mix of flavor. If we come across another Boustan location in our travels, we will definitely eat there. Unfortunately, we didn't take photos of the food before eating it. Yet, we have added a photo of a falafel (for size) and the can of water.“

The meat has great flavor, the salads are fresh, the portions are very generous. A mixed plate always gives me two meals. The prices are completely reasonable.
