Sumac Reviews
Best food, fresh and quality ingredients. Best service, best customer services. Highly recommended.
What a disgusting customer service🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Hands down the best shawarma I’ve ever had in my life! The chicken was incredibly flavorful with the perfect level of spice, juicy, tender, and cooked just right. The hummus was rich and creamy, and the pita was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was amazing. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!

Sumac is a restaurant that serves authentic Arab Mediterranean or Lebanese cuisine. The pita bread is nicely warmed with zatar seasoning and complements the fresh green cabbage salad, which has dill, lean onions, and a creamy dressing. The pickled beet is a standout, offering a crisp texture. The falafel and sabich platters are customer favorites, receiving high praise, and the falafel plate is described as to die for.
The menu offers a variety of vegetarian options, and the restaurant strives to accommodate dietary needs. The chicken shawarma and beef kafta plates are popular, and having the option of two salads makes the meals incredibly tasty. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is described as nice and spacious, with fast and fantastic service. However, the restaurant can get crowded.
Parking can be a challenge due to the limited street parking and congested area. Customers have praised the high-quality and delicious food, especially the garlic labneh, hummus, eggplant, chicken, and turnips. The sabich and beef kafta have also received excellent reviews, with customers describing the flavors as interesting, unique, and balanced. Overall, Sumac provides a delightful dining experience, particularly for those seeking authentic Middle Eastern flavors.
