Malgré cela, vous ne serez jamais déçu d'y avoir été tellement que c'est frais, bon, délicieux et À VOLONTÉ. Le personnel et le propriétaire sont tellement gentils, souriant, là pour nous vu que certains noms je ne connaissait pas. J'ai adoré mon expérience et quand mon budget me le permet, je vais les encourager. Imaginez-vous depuis la fin de l'année passée, le propriétaire s'est procurer un robot chat qui vient livrer des sushis à votre table, chante Joyeux anniversaire en coréen. Essayer après avoir confirmé votre commande de flatter la tête du chat voir sa réaction 🙃. Tant qu'à être dans les confidences, essayer de compter votre meilleur joke au propriétaire, très ouvert et drôle 😅. Bref, c'est une belle découverte et on passe toujours une belle soirée.“

“Opiano is a cozy Korean restaurant right next to McGill University and it’s perfect for students to grab lunch after class. 🍲 It offers authentic and tasty Korean dishes at a very reasonable price, making it a go-to spot for both quick meals and casual hangouts.
In the summer, they serve bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and I have to say the milk flavor is the richest and creamiest you can find in Montreal. 🧊🥛 Absolutely delicious! Strongly recommended for anyone looking for great Korean food near campus. 🌟“

“The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the Bibimpam in a hot stone bowl and it was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. The rice had that perfect crispy texture from the hot bowl, and the vegetables were fresh and well-seasoned. “The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my son’s allergies. He’s allergic to egg, fish and shellfish. We were able to order the avocado gimbap without egg and ask them to be careful with cross contamination. My son loved his first gimbap. We also ordered bulgogi kimbap and injeolmi craffle, which were delicious as well. The place doesn’t have AC so it does get pretty hot during the summer and there’s little seating. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

“I stopped by to grab something to go. The waitress was absolutely lovely and welcoming, the food was tasty (I had the bibimbap) but one big issue for me is that the portions are tiny. It seems like I could easily eat 2 meals, and that means I don't feel like I am getting my money's worth.
Dear restaurant owner, please increase your portions, I don't mind paying a bit more, but the current price to food ratio is not great. Just having more rice would be a big improvement.“

“One of the best meals (and cocktails) I’ve had in the city. I don’t think I left a single thing on my plate. The presentation is so elegant but the taste is what gets me coming back every time. “This restaurant has to be one of my favorite spots in Montreal! I’ve been multiple times already and it has never disappointed me. It was my first time trying Korean food and it made me fell in love with this cuisine. I absolutely love this place and you should absolutely try it. Service is great! And my recommended dishes are the following: Kimchi chigae, beef bone soup, bulgogi jeongol, dakgalbi with pork and their fried chicken!

“Best Korean food I've ever eaten. The food arrives still piping hot (like literally sizzling in cast iron). Service is super fast too, we got all of our food within maybe 10 minutes of ordering. Very affordable, 120$ for 4 ppl, a table absolutely full of food, a bottle of soju and a beer. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“The wife and I misread the closing hours and showed up at 9pm on a thursday night. We found out on arrival that the kitchen’s last call would be at 9:15 - not ideal for a BYOB AYCE experience…EXCEPT our server Ricky took the time to explain in detail how the chef could prepare a full course tasting menu and they could extend the kitchen’s closing time by an extra 15min (we pushed it to 25min, but it didn’t seem like too big of a deal). All in all we were very happy that we decided to stay and got to taste basically the whole menu, even if that last-call curated menu is a bit carb heavy. Big thanks to Ricky for his patience and understanding, and of course thank you to the kitchen staff for sticking around a few minutes longer for us!“

“We ordered the seafood pajeon, seafood soondubu, and yangnyum chicken. The food was good overall. The soup was flavorful, and the chicken had a nice sweet and spicy umami flavor that my husband really liked, though the sauce was a bit on the heavy, sweeter side, so it’s something you can only enjoy a few pieces of.
Service was polite, but we felt a little rushed. They served the food and checked in once, but it felt like they wanted to turn the table quickly. We hadn’t even been there for an hour.
I’d recommend going when it’s not too busy so you can take your time and really enjoy the meal. I’d come back to try other dishes, maybe with a bigger group next time so we can share and sample more items.“
“Food was ok, I think the owners are Vietnamese or the full staffs are viet. Nothing against it, but it’s just very dull; service was minimal, as I think language barrier was an issue.
Perhaps my review is a little rougher but after testing other bbq in Toronto mon ami are very basic in my humble opinion.
We were a table of 7 and they force a % on service when there was not much service per say, at this point I think it’s better off having an all you can eat food distribution like the all you can eat hotpot display.“

“My sister and I were looking for a comfort spot that wasn’t too far away from our hotel. We found this cute little Korean spot with authentic dishes.
We ordered the following:
- Octopus Bibimbap
- Beef Bulgolgi Ssam Bap
- Saewoo Tigim
They also gave us these pickled vegetables as our starters.
Everything tasted really delicious! I especially loved the crispy rice at the bottom of the stone bowl (bibimbap). The bulgolgi was really tender. I really liked wrapping it in a lettuce wrap with rice and ssam. They also gave us some kimchi that we also put into the lettuce wraps. The shrimp was lightly battered with panko. The sauce they served with the shrimp is a wasabi-mayonnaise that was tangy.
Everything tasted very authentic. We noticed that the chefs were both Korean. The customer service was good too. Our food didn’t take too long to arrive.
The space is a little smaller - probably seated around 15 people in total, so make sure to do reservations or go earlier when they open so you get a spot. We were seated at the bar side for our meal. Overall a nice cozy Korean spot for dinner. Definitely would recommend!“

“A bit of a disappointing experience.
We ordered truffle fries and boneless honey butter chicken. The fries were not homemade, lukewarm, and tasted nothing like truffle, instead it tasted only pamassan. We told the waiter and they gave us another fries plate, this time pretty hot without truffle flavor but it’s still appreciated. And the honey butter chicken tasted really good with the sauce, just too much crispy with not enough chicken. It’s the second time I visit there, again a bit disappointed. Btw, the dished takes a looooooong time 30 minutes for just fries and 1 hour for the fried chicken and it’s noisy.“
