They make classic chickpea falafels that are both perfect in texture and in taste. We found this place randomly while looking for food to enjoy at the nearby park, unfortunately there was construction everywhere around the little shop but a small passage was created to let people get through. The food and hospitality are 1000% worth the effort. There is also seating upstairs and a picnic table outside.“

“While we've been staying in Montreal, we have gotten food from this place several times. First off, this place has a vintage cozy interior with booths that look out onto the busy street. Second, the staff here is friendly, quick, and very organized. Lastly, the food is authentic and well prepared. Our favorite thing here is an all dressed steamy and the classic poutine. “This particular location has very little atmosphere as it's located in the food court of les galeries d'anjou, so don't take that as a negative against the restaurant itself. For the food, the veggies are always fresh crunchy, the sauces are each unique and tasty and the bases are a good addition. However, quite often the chicken is over cooked and on the dry, tough side, rather than tender. The sauces used to flavour the chicken are hit and miss as far as actually being able to taste the differences between them. On the upside, the service is always quick and efficient. When there's a queue, you won't be waiting long.“

The grilled chicken on salad was great with many choice of condiment. We ordered two Rouge Bowls and two mini Rouge. There is option of white rice, brown rice or lettuce. “We had yet to try Poutine on our visit to Montreal after visiting the Botanical Gardens and ran out of time to try what was suggested (Le Banquise). A maps search showed this place close by.

It was quite busy, but we ordered in short time and got our order of a large classic poutine quickly.

Overall our expectations were exceeded for what's labeled as fast food. We noticed that the fries were cooked to order. The gravy tasted good, but maybe a little sweet. The cheese curds were squeaky. The few fries not covered in gravy and cheese were crispy. Everything combined was great. We were able to eat about half of the large order in one sitting.“

Steamies were disappointing - dogs were small and toppings lacked flavour.
