“Beautiful and good little restaurant. A little too much salt in the meal but I really liked it. Very good price compared to other restaurants. The lady is alone for service and the gentleman is alone in the kitchen. The delay was a little longer than normal but very acceptable. I'm giving 5 stars because I'm sure they're doing their best. I recommend the restaurant and we will return. Around $52 for 2 table d'hôte.“

“I have been eating here for several years and the food is really delicious. The atmosphere is perfect when there are not too many people and the prices are very affordable. I have loved the service and food since the first time I came here, but recently the service has become a little worse than usual. The waitress, her hair down, is almost always on her phone when I see her. Whether it's when I'm going to pay or when I'm trying to look for her because I need more water, I almost always see her on her phone and it's getting a little annoying. Other than that, everything is perfect here, the other waiters and waitresses are very good.“

“Since I’ve moved into Quebec from Montreal, I’ve been struggling to find a decent family owned Asian restaurant. So when I found the Mai Lan I was pleasantly surprised and the service was excellent. Our host/waiter/owner was very respectful and helpful. The food was almost on par with what my mom used to make back home. They take good care of the taste of their food and it shows. The aesthetics are decent but you’re really there to eat and not to look at the walls. I enjoyed my meal there and we’re definitely going back.“

“Omg so delicious meal. I had the meal of chicken with vegetables with extra rice for my children and me, a delicacy from Vietnam. It was so good that neither me nor my sons left a crumb of our meals. Finger-licking. I will definitely return there on my next visit to Quebec. I had a takeaway meal so I don't know the staff service on site. Keep up the good work..very appetizing meal (from chicken to beef, to shrimp to imperial roll even down to the sauce of the 2 dishes) absolutely nothing to complain about except that the vegetable meal should have included a portion of rice or vermicelli (paying extra was not necessary).“
