“This place was Amazing. The sushi was great. We got the California one (I think it was called that), one with salmon, and one with shrimp in it. We had 7 each, and it was delicious. The service was a little slow, especially since we were the only people in the restaurant. But we got a lot of food so it is understandable. And let me say, it is just beautiful in there. “Truly the best sushi in West Island. The cooks are very knowledgeable and we interact with them on every visit. It’s mostly a take out restaurant and it shows because of its very small dinning room space. It almost feels like we have to eat quickly and leave asap because of the limited seating. I would recommend upgrading their tables and chairs and probably building a wall to separate entrance from dinning area. Still, the best restaurants are sometimes holes in a wall.“

“I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service we received owner Mr. Ming personally greets and attends to all customer needs. I can honestly say Sushi Hin is my favorite sushi place in the West Island. I have been there twice and the quality and service is very consistent. On my last visit i was there for lunch in a group of four and we were offered items that are only available for the night service. I thought that was a nice gesture and we really appreciated how far they went to win our loyalty to the restaurant. i highly recommend you give them a try.“

The menu had a good selection, the food was very fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant.
I don't know if it is a regular feature, however we were able to bring our own bottle of wine... something I have always liked in Montreal, as it is quite uncommon in Ontario!“

I have recently switched from General Tao Chicken to newish Korean style chicken General Tao. Though fried ,the latter results in a chicken that is much more moist and tastier. Either general Tao or sweet and sour sauce comes with the order.
As well I added shrimp instead of the usual chicken to a mixed vegetable dish. The shrimp were cooked to perfection.

My presence on Mother's Day was also a revelation. The sushi platters were leaving the restaurant like packages at an Amazon distribution center.I have never been overwhelmed by their sushi but I am tempted to fall to peer pressure and give it a try with a spicy fresh sushi beyond the mayo my ultimate goal“

“We regularly pick up the chef's choice platter from the Sushi Shop Kirkland, which has a few of the basic and not so wow additions, but I must say the Mother's Day platter (May 11'25) was so delicious that we called them back to let them know how amazing it was. “the robot cat is adorable and the waiters are the sweetest! the overall atmosphere is incredible minus the fact there are projectors projecting things on the floor and I got seated next to unruly children running , stomping and blocking the robot. “Really delicious sushis. It is my go-to. When I have exams or on my birthday, my mom surprises me with Sushiman sushi. Sushiman has become a special place to me because of the memories when I was gifted these sushis by my mom. The people who work here make it all the more special too. They are truly caring, welcoming, and sweet. The sushis are freshly made each day. Cleanliness is maintained.

My go-to sushi orders are "Crispy", "Crabe de Neige" (which is the same filling for Cripy sushi but the rice is inside rather than outside, "Salmon nigiris", "Avocado hosomaki", and recently I started liking the "Buddha wrap" and "Tuna tartare maki". In the picture I didn't order the previous 2 I mentioned but they're delicious.“
