I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here. The Garden is so beautiful, the food was scrumptious, it was the best food that I had on my trip to Quebec. I highly recommend the duck and tar tar. The staff were engaging and told us about the food when we asked. I saw one of the chefs go to the garden to find ingredients for our dish! If you get a chance to visit, take it. You can even buy food from the shop connected to the restaurant.
We spent a few nights in the area and had heard that this place was a local institution. It did not disappoint!! Venison tartare, scallops and duck confit were all amazing. There are plenty of wine selections by the 3 or 6 ounce glass, which is nice for variety. Service was excellent, and Matthieu helped us to pick the right dessert (the team has perfected rhubarb semifreddo).
The ambiance was stunning—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel both relaxed and impressed. Every detail, from the lighting to the music, created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal.
And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
