A Hidden Gem in Saguenay!

We went to Summum Bistro Café for dinner and were thoroughly impressed. From start to finish, everything was superb—the food was delicious, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the staff were warm, attentive, and professional.

The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, making it a perfect spot for a cozy evening out. You can tell care goes into every dish and detail.

Definitely a jewel in Saguenay—we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

La bouffe est délicieuse 10/10. Le restaurant est très bon et ambiance vibrante, mais les portions des repas principaux sont minuscules. Après avoir payé 35$ pour le repas, on a dû demander à la serveuse si elle ne s'était pas trompée en apportant une entrée au lieu du repas...Malheureusement on a dû re-souper en arrivant à la maison car on avait faim..C'est dommage car la nourriture et le service sont excellents. Je recommande la place aux plus nantis qui peuvent commander 2 assiettes au lieu d'une. Pizza sushi minuscule et boudin a 4 bouchées seulement😒

I chose the stout, Excellent.
Meal, there were 4 of us and we all loved our meal. Mac and cheese, black pudding, General Tao
For the atmosphere... noisy. Lowering the music volume level would be a good idea.

We were very surprised by this restaurant in Chicoutimi, so surprised that we came 3 times in 3 days ☺️
Large choice of à la carte dishes, there is something for everyone! Big favorite for the sushi pizza, the fish is seasoned to perfection and goes perfectly with the avocado and the rice cake ☺️
If you are very hungry, I recommend the duck paccheris au gratin 🫣
You can accompany your dish with a good draft beer.
For dessert we tried the crème brûlée and the chocolate fondant, both very good ^^
Finally, the service is top notch, so you no longer have a choice, you have to come and eat there ❤️

Very nice evening to celebrate my parents’ 86th and 87th birthdays! All the meals chosen were excellent and very tasty!
The waitress was really nice and attentive. Very good value for money.

You’ll need to speak French but that a minor detail. The entrees are not only fancy but fantastic. So, while your waiting for that hop on hop off bus stop by tell them Palo sent you from the USA. ENJOY!!!!!

Excellent, the duck confit poutine is incredible, as is the poultry ballottine. We also tried the beef tataki which was simply delicious, the flavors combined extremely well. However, we found that the last dish was not substantial enough.

We had dinner at Café Summum and it was delicious. The dishes were appetizing, very well presented and tasty.
The terrace is very pleasant.
The person who served us gave us very good advice on what dishes or drinks to have.
She was attentive and caring. And she allowed us to have a good time.
Only the bill is a little expensive, 200 Canadian dollars for 1 dish and a drink for 4 people.
We recommend this establishment.
