“This is the spot. I’m from New York, and I’ve been touring the states trying different foods. I went simple with my order, pan fried pork & cabbage dumplings. New York used to have plenty of different great little hole in the wall dumpling shops. A lot of them had disappeared, sadly. This shop brought me back, some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had“

“South American coffee. There is no flat white, but there is Cafe con leite, Espresso Longo, etc. Personally, I don't like American coffee, so I was quite satisfied with this coffee shop. Next time, I plan to try dessert. Coffee is pretty good. The quality is good and there is no unpleasant taste at the end, it is quite clean. The latte art is also quite good. Personally, I really liked the atmosphere of the cafe, and it is a delight to the eyes as it is full of amateur artist works. If it were really close to my house, I would go there often. A recommended coffee shop with reasonable prices.Parking: Free street parking is available nearby.“

“Premier essai aujourd'hui pour deux : on a pris la soupe Pho Tai #10 et le poulet sauté à la citronnelle #33 et c'était vraiment trop bon. Le boeuf de la pho est vraiment tendre et les saveurs du #33 étaient immédiatement excellentes et au dessus de nos attentes à la première bouchée. Ils ont probablement le meilleur poulet citronnelle de Montréal, voir du Québec.“

“This may be the best Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had. Period. The spring rolls are perfect. Little delicious tidbits to whet your appetite. Followed that up with Ban Xao a favourite of mine and this was the best I’ve ever had. Texture and flavours all in balance. Wrap that up with a seafood pho (bun mam) that is never seen in any Vietnamese place I’ve been. Maybe I’ve not noticed it elsewhere but this was exceptional. All for a very reasonable price. The people are warm, friendly and to some overly efficient. But I loved the place. Just could have been a little more pretty.“

“Our group came on a Friday lunch hour and it was quite easy to get seats. Upon looking at the menu, we knew the dishes were going to be quite traditional which we love. We ordered the Banh Xeo which was crispy and light. A few of us ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which had great flavor and a light spice. I did not come with the congealed blood but we requested it and he gave it to us to us on the house. We also ordered the Pho and we really enjoyed the soup. It was very spice forward in Star Anise, Clove and etc which we really enjoyed. The service was also amazing and very accommodating. Definitely a great alternative to two other popular Vietnamese restaurants down the block.“

“As US citizens on our first visit to Montreal, we figured that food would be an adventure. It was! But only in the positive. "Soupe" had the freshest of food, which may have been totally organic. We thought it a little expensive until we actually received our delightfully looking and tasting food. The salad and sandwich combo filled me for 2 meals! All the salad ingredients were fresh and varied. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open on weekends; if so, we would have returned for more meals. The sweets looked and smelled delicious, but we were already full from the soup and 1/2 sandwich or salad and 1/2 sandwich. Rue Saint Denis is a short (15 minute) walk from the Old Port and/or Chinatown.“

It's a perfect.Most of the times the staff is really friendly but this last time, the waiter wasn't really great. I waited for my bill quite a bit (the place was almost empty, btw). Then, I needed to go to the counter to ask for it because he was just chatting with somebody (not even looking at our table). At the end he was like "wait at your table I'll bring it there" when I was literally already standing at the cash machine. Anyway we ended up waiting for another bit for him just to put the machine at the table next to us.Kinda rude.
