A staple for smoked meat ! My husband and I shared the smoked meat plate . It was perfect for two, moist and delicious. Everything came nice and warm . The waiter was attentive to all the guests needs. Having my mom with us , he was making sure everyone had what they needed , including coffee refill. Because we were sitting in the back, there wasn't much atmosphere, but being a larger party it allowed us to have a quiet environment.
We love the throwback vibe and the great sandwiches here.
It's our go to stop on the way out of Montreal. Plenty of parking and friendly service.

Local friends brought us here right after our flight to try our first proper smoked meat sandwich and did not disappoint. Friday evening, it was quite quiet. The decor is very old school diner complete with vinyl booths, stained glass lamps (love!) and lovely service. We ordered the original smoked meat sandwich platter with some shrimp and steak and upgraded to a poutine of course. The sandwich was quite tasty but the steak was a little dry. Not surprising as we didn't come...
