“Best combo plates you can get anywhere in Montreal!
There are better places for pitas around but in terms of a combo plate… The quantity, the quality and the freshness are 10/10. The rice has a great aroma, salads are fresh, the meats are seasoned to perfection and best of all….they aren’t cheap with the garlic sauce and hummus!!! They don’t give you those tiny cups and charge you.
I grew up around this place and used to go as a kid after playing outside all day. In recent years I went back to see if it was all just nostalgia…Nope!
Cherry on top, the owner who’s been there since I was a kid, remembered me from that long ago. As many comments have stated already, he’s a wonderful guy.

“Sarab has delish middle eastern food to individually take to go or to share with friends or family! It is nicely located beside Pharmaprix St Jean to pick up after your errands. I got the Shish Taouk Shawarma mixed plate where you can pick 2 salad choices. My friend ordered the wrap. Customer service was also very nice. Friendly staff and excellent service on getting our orders. Not too long of a wait and food was yummy. They offer vegetarian options of you're vegetarian. They also offer a family food combo which I'd like to try next time I go !! for west islanders, they used to be located at Fairview! Support local !!“

Those grilled pitas were fire! Tried chicken and fillet mignon. Bonbastic!
Prices are higher than average, expect to spend around 100$+ for 2 if you order food and shisha.
Parking available in the back. Friendly staff. Speak french and english.

“We drove 25 min to get food and the store close at 10 . We arrive at 9:30 and the staff said we are closed and can’t serve food . Time should be respected if you guys close at 9:30 then mention it . It’s a chain restaurant how come they don’t care about the most top point of business that matter .“

“Al-Amin Restaurant in Montreal is amazing, especially the food. The pizza is delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and very satisfying. The shawarma is excellent—fresh, juicy, well-seasoned, and made with high-quality ingredients. Everything is beautifully presented, served hot, and clearly prepared with care. “I was looking for something quick and good, so I stopped by Crazy Falafel in Laval, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The Crazy Rocket and the Soussok sandwich are amazing, and for the price, you really can’t go wrong. The food is extremely fresh—made and out the door in no time. You honestly can’t ask for more, especially at this price point. If you’re hungry and want something tasty, you have to give this place a shot. Worth every penny.“

“Paramount is a good option at YUL airport (note: it’s before security). I had the create your own bowl with falafel. The ingredients of all of the sauces, hummus, etc are listed out so it is easy to confirm what is vegan. The garlic sauce isn’t vegan but the tahini and hummus were very good. Not sure about other locations but the hummus did not have any non-vegan ingredients Updated from previous review on 2026-01-20“
