“A great Middle Eastern place - wonderful tasty falafel, some great salads, and really don’t sleep on the fries. The drinks were really good as well! Portions were in the large side, and even splitting with my husband, we were pretty full. Looking forward to trying it again soon!“

“We visited from New Jersey for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Located in the heart of the cultural district of Montreal. Nightmare finding a parking spot. Food extremely delicious and mouth watering with good portion sizes. Host Tiffany and team were fabulous. Great taste of Lebanon.

“I arranged a group order with Farrouj Express. I contacted them both via email and via phone. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The food arrived with clear labels. We ordered the Shish Taouk Plate (Chicken), Vegetarian Plate, Falafel Plate, and Grilled Salmon Plate. Everything was great- tasty and reasonably priced. The entire group was very happy and satisfied.

“We arrived in Montreal around 6:30 pm, after several hours of flying and driving. It was raining and we didn't want to go out in search of dinner. After a quick check for vegan restaurants in the area, Boustan caught our attention. We ordered the falafel bowls, a vegan Brownie, and some Montellier water. It was all very good. There were five decent sized falafel in the bowl. Between that, the hummus, and the salad, we had a nice mix of flavor. If we come across another Boustan location in our travels, we will definitely eat there. Unfortunately, we didn't take photos of the food before eating it. Yet, we have added a photo of a falafel (for size) and the can of water.“

“Love this place. We've been regulars pretty much since they opened and even though we have tried the competitors down the street, Boustan is just better in every aspect.

My only small issue is that the food quantity isn't always consistent especially the big (Stan) bowls they're not always as full as they would need to be especially when it comes to the amount of protein. If you're paying almost 20$ for a single bowl you expect it to be full and not get skimped on the meat - especially not the chicken shawarma.

If they could fix that then this place would be 5 stars all around and I'd be coming here probably too often.“

The meat has great flavor, the salads are fresh, the portions are very generous. A mixed plate always gives me two meals. The prices are completely reasonable.

I also really like herbal teas. The ginger one wakes you up for the afternoon.

As for the service, it's great! The staff is very friendly and remembers the preferences of their regulars.“
