This is one of my new favourite breweries in the Ottawa area.“

“A real tavern as it is no longer filled with men between 40 and 70 years old, the place seems to belong to a very nice Asian man, very friendly waitress, smell of fries and intense old oil inside caused by the neighboring snack bar so you have to have a strong heart, very exorbitant price of beer for this kind of place, seems to be frequented by regular customers who know each other well, small outdoor terrace sticking to the edge of the road so smell of gas and abundant car dust and the customers all seem to be smoking cigarettes on the terrace and this despite government restrictions to this effect, very tight parking and very little space and places available I had to park in the neighboring street and market to get there, 4 video lottery machines impossible to play given the regular customers who monopolize everything and finally no music despite being equipped with a kind of modern paying jukebox and when you play a song the regular customers look at you as if you were mad and blubbering against the music and make you feel like an element too many in the place, his babble and his sideways glance at you.“
“I went there for my 2nd time in 3 weeks yesterday. It's really excellent! And the impeccable service. I gave a 4 for the atmosphere because I found the music a little loud at one point but probably if I had mentioned it, the waitress would have taken it into account.A small suggestion given the quality of the food: Offer the pepper with a real pepper mill. “Best burger I've had in a very long time, albeit a bit pricey. My wife said her Caesar wrap was excellent too. Great beer as well. Service was really poor but the place was packed for a Friday night band, etc, so maybe understandable? Needed more servers I guess.“
“Eight of us celebrated a relatives lunch here today. The server was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I ordered the special at $28, Red Snapper on a Cod Cale with asparagus and a Caviar Butter Sauce. Cooked perfect and looked good.Vegetarian options: They had several tempting vegetarian and vegan options.Parking: The Byward Market is always busy so we parked across the street at the Rideau Centre .Kid-friendliness: Young kids were there and seemed to be happy.“
