This Gatineau Bakery makes the best cakes and desserts in the greater Ottawa area. The bakery is always well stocked, staff are very friendly and accommodating. We’ve never been disappointed in their baked items and will continue to visit this amazing bakery.

There are not many bakeries in Gatineau, but for sure Fidélice is a good address. And most definitely, their strawberry shortcake is the best I've ever tasted. But, they do have a large selection of breads and pastries.

Very warm welcome, mainly Halal products to accommodate certain communities which is really interesting, the products we can say are good but not perfect for someone who has tasted a lot of products elsewhere in Canada and abroad. The slices of pastry and pastries are small compared to the sale price.
I tasted the croissant, éclair, mille-feuille, opera Paris breast...

Always friendly and helpful, especially when writing personalized birthday messages on their delicious and beautifully crafted cakes and gâteaux. There are also vegan and gluten free options which are equally delicious.

I wish the dominant feeling was "this is delicious", rather than "this is TOO sweet", can't finish. I do enjoy the frozen croissants which are very handy to bake at home.

We have been customers of Fidélice for several years.

My parents came to visit Canada and we ordered a cake for their 50th wedding anniversary. Our guests and my parents (accustomed to excellent Mexican pastries) really liked the cake.

MIL MIL GRACIAS to Mr. Rasmey and his entire team who added the “icing” on the cake for the celebration of my dear parents.

I used to buy large Vanilla cakes for my family parties. However, their cake is usually good but I gave them 1 star because today I and my sister saw a paper with ”35% discount because of the last hour sale before closing the shop”... We read it, kept it and at that time the employee took it and manipulated it by saying ” It was for a specific cake and it’s already bought by the customer next to me” BUT once we bought another cake, they returned that cake without returning the paper of discount which means they’ve deceived us. They saw us entering with other customers and decided to change their minds, and words and manipulate the prices. The 35% is only 10 bucks for the cake I just bought but congrats you lost a customer who bought 4 large cakes since I moved to Gatineau last June.

Of course, I will never be back again or recommend anyone to go there as I don’t trust them anymore.

Incredible pastries at a great price point. I had the almond & chocolate croissants and they did not disappoint! They also have frozen croissants to bake yourself at home which is so great. Will be coming back!!!
