This complaint has nothing to do with the food or the service of the kind and competent waitresses.
As a walk in client, I look to see if there’s a comfortable place to sit since I have rather severe back pain. Each and every time we ask for a “ banquette” from the blond hostess at the door… she says they’re reserved. I don’t know how they could be reserved since “open table” says you can’t reserve for 2.5 hours prior. But, I sit uncomfortably and watch. Last time I asked our waitress if the “banquette “ was reserved and she said no… and moved us to it. This time I’m complaining because I’m sitting in an uncomfortable seating staring at the “banquette “ area…. Four people came in and were being seated at a table nearby… when they noticed the table and said can we sit there instead?? And the blond hostess SAT THEM there!!! I am so upset and my husband doesn’t want me to complain… so here I am complaining online.
Absolutely no reason for this. I shouldn’t have to list my physical problem with the hostess.. if it’s available… then sit us there. Period
The place is basically empty. Maybe this is why it’s empty?!!

This place is our favourite place and has never let us down. Fantastic food, great service and awesome atmosphere.
The Philly was great as always. The mushroom and the Goat were great as well.

I came here lastnight with my husband and two children. The place we were intending to go was under renovations so we came here last minute to give it a try. I’m a vegetarian so my husband typically inquires with staff about the food options before we settle in. I’m pregnant and was wanting poutine but the staff told him the poutine gravy wasn’t vegetarian friendly but I also love nachos so we stayed anyway. I asked for vegetarian nachos with no meat and lightly cooked, but they gave me nachos with veggie burger crumble on it and the chips were burnt. Because of the pregnancy I have a lot of annoying food aversions right now and I let the waitress know the nachos weren’t quite right. She fixed it right away and quickly brought nachos that were absolutely perfect! I was very happy and everyone else loved their food as well. Even the kids ate most of their food. My husband left her a good tip and we will definitely come back again! I’d say my only complaint was the DJ starting a bit too early as we were sat next to the booth and the kids found the music to be too loud. But 5 ⭐️ for everything else!

Ok let's try this again due to last visit the bar consisted of a bartender and her friends and that was it for about 10 minutes so we left so if you let me small circle service then that's for you. If you are doing sit down their burgers are great, not sure why someone keeps putting baby tomatoes on a Philly cheese steak but they do. The BBQ pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich is the best deal for what you get. Of you are looking for a great batmr experience I would recommend you SHAKER off somewhere else.

me and my husband love coming here! at least once a month we drive about an hour to come eat here together and we’re always very satisfied with the food, the service and the atmosphere in general. i absolutely loveeee the fries here and we also often like to try new things on the menu and are never disappointed with the results. i really recommend this restaurant, it’s truly a 10/10 in our eyes! we’ll always keep coming here🤩

They refused to provide us with a table of our choice so we left without being served.

It's good - but it's expensive.

A burger for $20-25, drinks for $10 and more.

You won't get away with less than $40 per person after tax and tip. For a big burger and fries with a drink.

Is 12 wings $30?

10/10 for the atmosphere, and the service is also generally good - but at this price, I can make burgers for a whole family at home :/

Excellent beef tartare and poutine. The burgers are huge and super tasty! The atmosphere is so laid back and the music takes you back! It was a great date night!! We highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!
