We went to Troquet on Sunday the 28th. Let me start by saying that we went there for their fantastic French onion soup and it was, indeed, as good as people have told us! It’s all the broth that their chef makes! Just the perfect amount of salt! You won’t find a French onion soup like this on Ottawa side! We actually went for the entertainment, so the dinner menu wasn't our objective. I did enjoy my chicken burger by my poutine side was disappointing. The fries and gravy were lukewarm, so the cheese curds didn't melt. Many people were there early to get a good seat for the show, so the kitchen was probably overwhelmed. I haven't figured drinks into the dinner cost.
