Really lovely, authentically Swiss atmosphere and decor. You feel like you've travelled through a portal into a charming restaurant in the Swiss Alps. Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food, the fondue is like a warm hug. A real treat, we'll be returning.

Restaurant Meule et Caquelon - a Swiss tradition brought to Quebec some 32 years ago. This was my first visit, and it will not be my last. As advertised, it is a unique experience and tje food was excellent.

Great for date night !
It was our first time at Meule et Caquelon a couple of weeks ago, for our Friday date night. I knew the place existed, but the store front is not very inviting (you'll see when you go). I was committed to finding the entrance and exploring, and I am pleased that we did. The staff wear lederhosen. You can cook your own food on these tabletop grills. Their beer choice is superior to any other restaurant that I can think of (short of actual beer specialty places). Péché Mortel by the pint !! Wow. We got a fancy meat mix for 2 which included the stuff on the photos. Staff was competent. Food was fresh. The sauces were good - though I would have liked a garlic sauce and some onion for the grill. It's on our list for future visits. Would be great for a family get-together, double dates, and such.

We stopped for a date night of cheese fondue... I wish I was hungrier, this is a cool place with really good cheese. We're planning our next visit already!

Smells so bad in there , like a garbage truck . We sat down and i left . The smell is unbearable. Plus the walls are gross . Place is dirty. I can't even understand the good reviews
