Today I stopped for dinner at Nickels and as soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a charming waitress who then assigned me a seat. It's off to a good start! I was a little late for lunch, but otherwise the rest of the menu was available and varied. There are several choices of "smoke meat"... it reminds me of Deli Chenoy's in the past. A nice little moment of nostalgia.
Finally I ordered a Classic Cheeseburger plate. And honestly, it was very good, the meatball was huge, the ingredients fresh... The only little thing I would have added would have been a signature sauce, but they offer the classic condiments at the tables anyway.
PS; The lunches are really successful too. I highly recommend!
The service was still quite fast. My waitress was super nice and smiling. My plate was really very good.
It's not Deli Chenoy's... But we're really not far!

Ordered Take Out for 4 from Nickels thru Uber app. Now usually Dine In is ok; But clearly there is two kinds of plates , Dine -In and Take Out. The Take out portions were ridiculous ordered Chicken Brochettes I guess it comes with (1) and the pieces of chicken were no bigger than say the tip to the knuckle of my thumb IF that , the rice was dry , potatoes were fine , the whole thing was thrown in the box. The same thing goes for the souvlaki which Porc souvlaki pieces are usually already small but theses were all cut in smaller pieces even. I suspect because its Take out they wont hear from you directly . Not impressed and by comparison La Casa Grecque knows how to treat their customers when it comes to Chicken brochettes and Souvlaki and salads. Just leaving it out there.

Portion of smoke meat really small. There was 1/2 inch of meat. Really disappointing 😟. When I asked for less fatty meat the waitress told me she would charge me two smoke meats!!!!
I went in with 2 kids 12 and 6...the kids pizza was really good the eldest had the lasagna and cheese bread and I had a smoked meat and I was suprised at the size of it .. it was small.....good yes but really small....if there is a large and a small sandwich I wasn't aware anyhow lol...with tip it cost me 90$ we 3 had watter next time I will say something before ordering a large sandwich lol ..I we will be back of course for a bigger sandwich

Really disappointing, I ordered "the star" so a smoked meat sandwich (supposedly their specialty) and I have rarely eaten something so ordinary. Two old dry loaves with scraps of fatty meat... no slices, just scraps. The waitress was stupid and seemed to hate her job, while the other team members played electronic music from the 2010s at way too high a volume. I feel like I threw $30 out the window, on top of having an unpleasant time.

Took 30 minutes to take our drink order, served another table before us that was seated after us. Food arrived before our drinks. Ordered chocolate cake to go and they didn't give us a full piece but tried to cover it up. Also no vegetarian options.
