We stopped by on a Tuesday evening after soccer practice with the kids and the staff were so patient while we figured out orders for two picky eaters. The hot chocolate and the almond croissant were a hit, and the little play corner near the window kept my youngest busy while we actually got to sit for a minute. Parking right out front made the whole stop painless with tired kids in tow. It has quickly become our go to quick stop in La Pocatiere on weeknights.
Stopped by the cafe Saturday afternoon with a few friends after wandering around La Pocatiere and the vibe inside was so cozy, exactly what we needed. Got a matcha latte and a slice of their almond croissant, both were fantastic and clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and even recommended a couple other spots for us to check out in town. Grabbed a table at Cafe Bonte Divine after work on a Tuesday and it was already buzzing with a solid dinner crowd. The croque monsieur my friend ordered was gooey and perfectly toasted, and my mushroom quiche had a flaky crust that held up all the way through. Staff kept checking on us without being pushy, even though we lingered over coffee for a good hour chatting. Small spot, warm lighting, easy street parking right out front too, we will absolutely be back.
