Restaurant Café Azimut offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly service. The warm, rustic decor and century-old house feel create a cozy environment. The menu features an excellent Caesar salad, delicious coffee, and a great selection of wine and beer. The homemade desserts are presented on a large platter, making for a difficult choice since everything looks very good. The patio is perfect for the summer season, and the nearby hill provides a gorgeous view of the river. While the food may be a bit pricey, especially when compared to similar meals at Baton Rouge, the quality and attention to detail make it a notable dining experience. The service is very good, with servers being friendly without being intrusive. It is a perfect place for a beer in the afternoon on a beautiful sunny Saturday.
