Me and my friend had the Shoyu with chicken instead of pork and it was genuinely the most amazing ramen I’ve had. The eggs were delicious and the chicken was so savoury, the broth had me nutting and everything else about the dish was genuinely orgasmic. We had mochi’s for dessert and we loved them.
The interior was so cute! We were geeking out over the little cat figurines (some had a pair if balls and we found that amusing)
Service was good too! There was only one person, not sure if he was the owner or not, but he was super nice and friendly!!
10/10, will be returning. There’s gotta be crack in the food.“

“I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to for this one because it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, and our server, Soo, was incredibly kind and friendly. She took the time to explain the menu and had such a positive attitude throughout. It really made our visit special. Definitely a place I’d come back to!“

“it was good but kinda disappointing. it says a boiled egg and all you get is half an egg. the music doesn't match the decor and way too loud. the broth and pork were lovely. the takoyaki was perfect. service was good but the girls couldn't hear us calling them over the music of Bruno mars 🙄 I'll skip this one for now. ambiance was missing.“

Quelque erreurs dans nos commandes et facture mais c’est pas grave le service étaient tellement gentil et nous avons adorer nos plats :) point constructif que j’aimerais apporter c’est d’offrir plus de choix dans vos consommations je crois que ce saurait pertinent dans votre menu :)“

“Loved this place, came with my family and the service was amazing . The food was to die for. And they honestly were really amazing with my kids. I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. I’m telling you now I will be coming here a lot more.“

“My husband and I come here often, it’s the best ramen we’ve ever had. We both get the original version with the hot sizzling broth whenever we come by, and it amazes us every time without fail. “Belle petite découverte avec 83 choix dans le menu. Tous les plats étaient parfaitement exécutés et appétissants. Les quantités étaient plus que suffisantes. Le prix très raisonnable. L'ambiance imprégnée du Japon et du monde des animés a su plaire à tous. Nous reviendrons.“

“ThAnd snow my kind of Japanese restaurant- no sushi at n the menu! Sure they have sashimi, and nothing against sushi per se - when it’s done as a high level food experience (almost never in the west), it’s excellent; usually, it’s fast food.

In this down tempo At Denis eatery their menu has a huge array of fair priced appetizers that are more than filling (and perfect for sharing) as well as ramen and bao and larger plates.

Their sake based cocktails and large selection of sake are impressive. And highly recommended are the grilled oyster mushrooms.

For me, attention to detail is what takes this place to another level - no ice in the water they serve you, the miso soup is dark, food is sometime served on long wooden planks for large groups. Awesome!“

“I chose L'Octo for an afternoon date. The restaurant is lovely, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress was excellent—very attentive, she answered all our questions, and recommended several great dishes that we truly enjoyed. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the presentation. Being able to share the meals made the experience even more pleasant. The prices are also very reasonable. The only small negative was the parking situation, but overall, I had an excellent evening with great food and company. I definitely scored points by choosing L'Octo!“

“This is my no.1 favorite place in downtown Montreal. It is super cheap the food is super good and the vibe is really nice. The staffs are really really friendly. The place is pretty lowkey but still loved it so much. Definitely comeback here every time I visited Montreal.“
