Just Avoid this place.
The restaurant was empty, The manager name Adil welcomed us. However, he didn’t seems to happy, since we were with 2 kids.
Therefore, he gave us a table in an isolated room, where it was very hot. As soon as we wanted to sit, he even closed the door. It was 42 degrees Celsius outside. I asked him “is the air conditioning working in that room, he told me yes”. Which was not true.

Restaurant Calvi — Steakhouse, Pâtes & Fruits de Mer in Laval offers a mainly Italian dining experience with a mix of positive and negative reviews. The restaurant provides private rooms, making it suitable for parties or special occasions. One couple celebrated their wedding there and praised the food and service, highlighting attentive staff and careful consideration of food allergies. The atmosphere was described as relaxing, with nice music and friendly staff, and the outside terrace offers a pleasant spot for drinks before dinner.
However, some reviews express disappointment with the quality and value. The food was considered unremarkable and overpriced by some guests. Specific dishes like the lamb shank were overly salty, and the pasta served with it was dry and bland. Kids' meals, including deep-fried chicken pieces with fries and undercooked pasta with rose sauce, were seen as disappointing. The Mother's Day menu was limited and not well-received, with small portions and slow service noted in some visits.
Despite the ability to reserve private rooms, noise from nearby parties and the lack of full ceiling coverage detracted from the ambiance. Overall, while the restaurant can be a good choice for private events or a relaxing meal, many feel the food and experience do not justify the high prices unless a private room is needed for a party.
