“I went to the restaurant on the evening of May 27th for my birthday. The owner welcomed us warmly and was very kind. The waiter was also very kind, and both of them took the time to wish me a happy birthday. It was my first time at the restaurant, and the interior is very beautiful and chic. We came to have a drink and a dessert so I could blow out my candles.The cheesecake was delicious. I will definitely come back to try the food.“

“First rate. I specifically chose them as apparently the only steakhouse on the Island grilling on real coal fires. Three of us shared a medium rare 34 Oz Porterhouse and two 2 lb. Maritime lobsters. Pommes Aligo and creamed baby spinach were delightful sides. Cold and grilled shrimp and delicately fried calamari served as appetizers. As my intention was to support Canada and Montreal we chose both white and red Quebec wines (ground $100 each) with the assistance of the knowledgeable sommelier. Desserts were Crème brûlée and crêpes Suzette, both perfect. After dinner drinks and smokes in the sophisticated cigar bar completed the experience. Service was perfect. Unobtrusive and respectful of our privacy, but ever-present to refresh our glasses and attend to our every need. It was a flawless steakhouse experience from start to finish. Around $1200 CDN, but worth every Loonie for a memory that will last a lifetime.“

I was directed to Chops Resto Bar, and it certainly did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, super knowledgeable of all the items on that I can arguably say is one of the most comprehensive menus I’ve ever seen. The food came out quickly and was delicious in every way.“
