My husband chose this place, and we honestly poked a bit of fun at him at first because none of us had ever heard of it or seen it recommended. Well, I completely ate my words!

The moment we walked in, the aroma was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible across the board, but the curries were the absolute standout. Flavors were rich, spices balanced and not greasy at all.

The ambience was warm and highly inviting. We had our two kids with us, and they happily ate their fill. A special shoutout to Chef Brian and our waiter Vincent for their outstanding hospitality. This restaurant is an absolute must-have experience!

As a Malagasy, this restaurant tastes and feels like home💛 The service is touching and attentive. I strongly recommend ordering the sambos, nem, hen’omby ritra, rougail saucisse, and ravitoto! Definitely reserve :)

Food is decent but the service is extremely slow. They were way too short staffed to manage a busy restaurant on a Saturday night.

This was my first taste of cuisine from Madagascar and I loved it. I tried their signature dish Ravitoto with pork made by slowly cooking cassava leaves with pork and served with rice. The texture was smooth and the flavors rich. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

This was my first experience with Malagasy cuisine, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I will return to explore more. The soupe tamatave was the highlight with flavourful broth, tasty wontons and delicious morsels of smoked pork. It had many delightful taste and texture sensations. Lasary manga, mango salad, had a nice balance of shredded ripe mango with a tangy vinaigrette that balanced sweetness and acidity. Rougail saucisses was pleasant. The sausage were tasty and the tomaato-based sauce was nice, although rather mild in flavour. My friend had the misao fried noodles with mixed proteins. The portion was very large. It was not unlike some Chinese noodle dishes. Again, the flavours were mild, but flavourful. Service was helpful and attentive. Prices are fair and reasonable. It is also BYOW, so that helps control the cost. Decor is pleasant, but modest.

I would honestly give 6 stars across the board if I could! I live just around the corner and really regret having never come to the restaurant until tonight. Chef Brian was so kind to come out from behind the counter and greet my friend and I. I have never met a more personable and attentative chef! The food itself was absolutely delicious! My friend and I were really touched by the free donuts, too <333 I will 100% be coming back!
