My friend and I went for coffee yesterday. No prices on the menus which wasn't a great start considering a small flat white came to 8.50. Not to mention it was terribly made (practically a cup of milk). After ordering, despite the place looking empty, the one server there decided to wait 10 minutes before even starting to make it. Don’t let the fun decor fool you - it’s was a disappointing experience.

I was surprised to see this place, because I had probably passed it maybe a thousand times. Their panini (Van Gogh) are delicious. It’s a lovely environment full of art and decorations. Workers are kind, and I totally recommend it.

Second visit* Disappointed with my experience, Van Gogh panino was small and it was 17$, the taste was not the same as before.

Very misleading menu… i ordered a crepe that i thought came with both chicken and beef because theres no sign on the menu and when i ordered it the cashier didnt even ask me if i wanted one or the other.. and this is what i got… there was 2 pieces of beef and just lettuce and when i went back to see if i can either get it replaced or reimbursed, i was told the manager is too busy to come talk to an unhappy client and that she doesnt allow reimbursements even though they were wrong(the cashier told me this) i feel like i got scammed out of my money and i felt even bad for the cashier because this isn’t even her responsibility and was very obviously used so the manager doesn’t actually have to do their job.. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the manager and very misleading menu i dont recommend this place to ANYONE honestly its not worth it.(edit: the manager came out when the waitress was remaking my food( i couldn’t get reimbursed so i atleast wanted to replace it) and i tried to explain to her that the menu is very misleading and that i feel like she should’ve came out and spoke to me instead of her employee being the messenger, and she was very rude , she proceeded to tell me well if You didn’t want beef you shouldn’t have ordered it :reminder I thought it came with both because that is what the menu indicates and the waitress did not ask me if i wanted one or the other when i ordered and paid so my assumption that it came with both was validated. The manager then gets in a argument with me because i was expressing her my dissatisfaction as a client and was met with horrible customer service , dismissive and very dishonest behaviour)

Worst crepes I’ve ever had. Overpriced and absolutely not worth it—this place feels like a tourist trap. We paid nearly $20 for a crepe that was barely edible. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited about 30 minutes for our order, and the quality was still terrible. Very disappointing experience. Definitely never going back.

Dismal doesn't come close to describing the garbage I was just served. Quality and taste would certainly trigger a shutdown if a food auditor paid a random visit. I'm convinced that what was served came directly out of the neighbors dumpster. I ate 20 minutes ago and now I'm holding my breath that this experience doesn't induce abdominal users. $70 for the equivalent of pre eaten food? Avoid this place like the plague! €©€©¥®¥®

This used to be me and my best friends go-to meeting spot, we would visit almost everytime we hung out. I’ve noticed the quality severely drop since the owners changed, we even gave it a second chance we wanted to like it that bad! Fries and crepe were cold, and just not up to par to what it was before. Portions are a joke and it’s so expensive for no reason.. We’ve since changed our usual place to eat and will not be coming back for sure. The only good thing is the decor, but that’s entirely the work of the older owners, there was not a single positive change !

I have been here several times and it’s always been excellent. However, I was here recently, and the quality of the food and service dropped significantly. Feeling something was “off”, I did some digging and found out that there are new owners. The food was not terrible by any stretch, but we won’t be back until things turn around. It was such a good, quirky, and fun place. Now it seems to be mediocre and more pricey food.

sat down & took our time to look at the menu. one of the workers came to tell us that it was a place to eat only & not drink coffee and work. while tons of other tables were drinking and not eating. didnt used to be like this.

7 dollars for a raspberry mint lemonade, it was just a small glass of raspberry syrup in water. What a joke.

This place was pretty, but I wouldn’t recommend and won’t come back.
The photo is showing what $70 ($80 with tip) worth of food (plus a $4.50 drip coffee not on the photo) gets you there.
The $12 soups were pretty good (but $12!!) and the $17 paninis tasted… well pretty much how they look.
You are in Montreal, you can find better food for a fraction of the price.

I used to love this place. it was one of those rare gems where everything felt homemade, consistent, and made with care. But during today’s visit, something felt off. I looked down at my stale “panini” and a lackluster salad and couldn’t figure out what had happened.

Turns out, new ownership has taken over, and unfortunately, it shows. The quality has completely fallen apart.

The food doesn’t taste the same at all. Dishes that were once fresh and flavorful now feel bland, hastily thrown together, and made with cheap ingredients. Portion sizes are smaller, presentation has gone downhill, and the overall value is just terrible.

I really wanted to continue supporting this place because of how fantastic it used to be, but this will be my last visit. It’s clear the new management isn’t maintaining the standards that made this spot so special.

The food was very mediocre unfortunately and really not cheap for what it is. Very plain taste and not worth the money.. the decor was super cool but the place was empty for a reason.
