Everything - the food, service, wait time, and hospitality from the staff is good. Not great but also not bad, but if you have been there before there has been a noticable decline in overall quality since ownership changed back in the early 2010s.
We have had a regular breakfast here a couple times. Was tasty and as expected. Coffee was good. Service was good both times. The restaurant is a bit run down/possibly dirty and there is no "wow" factor to give it a 5 star but for the price it was very acceptable. No complaints
Mini Punjab took the place of an old diner that existed in Pointe Saint Charles forever. First thing first, do not the judge the book by its cover. The inside decor and furniture are from the former restaurant. You go to the cash, and order and pay your food. You can take out or sit down. We sad down. The waitress/cashier was sweet and amiable. The food was deliciously fresh! We had Dahi puri, samosas, chai, masala dosa and a vegetarian thali. Every dish was well cooked and flavored....read full review
