The owners are father and son, if I'm wrong, I'm sorry. Very nice mans who definitely set the trap I fell into =). We bought a couple of candies and a magnet, while paying for them, we were given a taste of their maple syrup. As a result, we bought more sweets and syrup. And they have a very good selection of small souvenirs, so I recommend you look at them for gifts for your friends

DISHONEST and UNSCRUPULOUS employers! This family business made up of two parents and their son also has 2 other stores within the Bonsecours market (Chez Blond's, l'Epicerie fine). They mainly take advantage of immigrants who have just arrived in the territory and who do not yet have experience in Quebec. I worked as a saleswoman in their stores and to summarize:- Oral employment contract, which they do not respect- Does not respect regulatory break times- Do not let certain employees eat- Criticizes employees to other employees- No consideration or respect for employees by throwing them away as they see fit from one day to the next and without any valid reason.I can therefore only strongly advise you not to work in these stores. If this is already the case, you can contact the CNESST to report a complaint. And if you are a customer, do not support these dishonest employers by purchasing from their stores. There are plenty of other stores to buy good maple syrup and other products.

Lots of choice in products but still expensive. The products are of good quality.

Fun place to buy maple syrup gifts and souvenirs in Bonsecours Market. It's conveniently located near the Place Cartier. I bought maple candies and popcorn here to bring back to friends and family. I bought some of the maple cream fudge for myself and am still enjoying it as it brings nice memories of my trip to Montreal.

As much as I really think they have great products. HOWEVER, I REFUSE TO SUPPORT a business that direspects and neglects employees the way this owner does. (Speaking as an ex employee) I was let-go because I asked too many questions regarding my basic rights as an employee (breaks, pay, overtime, work hours and more) The owner did not appreciate that I was not in agreement with ALL of his decisions or the way that he spoke to us (speaking very rudelly, loud -yelling sometimes, and using very derrogatory language). The same week that I addressed certain issues and requested for us to have a team meeting with the owners and employees (which they said was impossible to do), was my last week of work. I was never informed that I was not performing inadequately.(I was actually doing more than asked) To top it all off- they lied to other employees that I left on my own behalf and did not tell them I was actually fired. They fired my other coworker/friend because she also asked "too many " questions and to finish, their reasoning was "the atmosphere/environment" was not right...

Essentially a cafe and pastry shop specializing in maple flavoured products: ice cream, pastries, drinks, etc. If you don’t like maple then this is not the place for you. However, if you are a maple fan then this is a prime destination: there are many unique and delicious applications of maple flavours. Everything we tried was tasty and reasonably priced. The only real negative is the hours - perhaps it was due to summer holidays but they were closed several days a week.
